OL recruiting has been the biggest surprise to me after last season.  Not sure if they don't see an early enough path for playing time based on the current roster?  You would think Moore would have them lined up out the door after last season.  Especially the way Michigan ran the ball.  Hopefully just an odd one off.  Getting this kid would certainly help.  Really need two true tackles in this class at a minimum I would think.

We know all the Harbaugh and Coordinator shuffle probably affected recruiting significantly.

TO add.. What about Moore going from TE coach - (often more a focused recruiting position than on-field coaching) --- to OL in 2021 and then adding the Co-OC title this offseason??  I am guessing he is still learning to balance the recruiting workload with his increased on-field and game planning duties and recruiting has suffered.

Excuses made... - It has been a real gut-punch to finish 2nd (or close) on seeming every top OT target that M had a serious shot with.

Landing Link is a great first step - sounds like M is taking a run / getting a look from almost every uncommitted top 250 OT (not named Okinloa) as well as trying to flip the late rising kid committed to TTU.

Sam Webb for the most part it appears gives 6s and 7s. The silliest part of course, is we know when he drops a CB it's not on a whim. Would love to know the difference between a 6 and a 7 in his mind. I think sometimes they give the 6 or whatever confidence level in an attempt to "not ruin the kid's moment" but let's be real, the whole industry for the most part has removed most of the suspense when decision time comes. Sure you get the Josh Christopher and Josh Conerly stunners, but for the most part you have a good idea where the kid is picking. Which is fine, it's a business and a lot of people enjoy the business and following recruiting.
