Shame, ran into him last fall in the line at Zingerman's the day after the Nebraska game. Yes, he ordered a Reuben... Seemed like a nice guy.
Birth name checks out!
Coincidence on multiple levels since the Reuben sandwich was supposedly created at the Blackstone Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska. The spanking on Saturday wasn't enough, had to take more from Nebraska.
Greatest sandwich if all time IMHO
Pastrami or Corned Beef?
Yes.
Close. A Rachel uses turkey and slaw.
Umberto Eco - an impressive gourmand - named the Reuben as America's greatest contribution to culinary delight.
Unfortunately he meant it as faint praise.
No way a college student can afford Zingermans
One of my many UMich hot takes is that zingermanns is very overrated at both the price and time for line. Give me maize and blue deli or ama or any other sandwich shop in A2 any day.

Careful, no politics or religion and sandwiches are clearly both. Pretty sure Zingerman’s vs MnB was banned several years ago after a board meltdown.
Curious as to the reason. You would think he would get some kind of playing time.
I don't think he would. He had been passed by a bunch of younger dudes and has played minimally. Still wish him the best of luck for the future.
Wasn't he going to be a 5th year? No chance he was coming back, he was going to get a handshake out the door. 5th year guys that don't play and get passed by younger players don't get a 5th year.
Good luck to him.
Has to be PT...which makes sense - especially if Luigi is finally healthy.
I'd love to see him at UCF or USF.
Nah. Too many guys ahead of time, and he wasn't, uh, effective when he played.
I wish him luck at his next stop, though.
Bummer.....best of luck to him, wherever he lands...
About as surprising as the Brandon Peters transfer will be after he graduates this spring or summer, but absolutely wish him the best!
The kid can play, he just happens to play the deepest position Michigan has had since the final days of Hoke. No shame, got great coaching, contributed in other ways and now he can go showcase his skills.
Go do your thing, Reuban!
Whenever I hear the name Reuben I immediately think Kincaid. Anyone of a certain age with a history of watching dumb TV shows will know who that is.
Ok, I'll admit it: Susan Dey
There was no other reason than her for watching.
Based on you comment (and Bo/Leach picture).....I'm going to guess that your age is between 59 - 61. Did I get it?
Your guess is the closest without going over, so yeah, I declare you the winner!
Oh wait, nobody else guessed??
I was a bit too young to appreciate anything about the Partridge Family. Seems like the syndicated version would always air in the afternoon/after school, right after cartoons.
Wish him luck. Seemed like he could never quite get reps and was passed by younger guys. When he signed I remember he seemed like a guy who could be a really solid college player but not an NFL-type (due to his size), but it never quite worked out.
Good luck Rueben. Sorry to see you go but congratulations on your graduation from Michigan.
