That type of stuff isn't going anywhere...the noodle was overkill, but every school in the country takes advantage of sponsorship opportunities. In 2015, Michigan is no different.

Blame Brandon for everything all you want, he was a SHIT AD...the worst. But Chobani "Quotes of the Week" were far from a crime.

After reading most of the posts on the board today it sure is nice to read about some football. The Gentry/O'korn and Morris battle will be interesting. I love that all the other programs seem to have coaches talking about players and their teams while the submarine is silent.

Looking at Morris I always thought he looked tiny. Then I just thought... Ehhh he will get bigger when he gets into Michigan and lifts... Continues growing.. Etc. well that hasn't happened and he is still tiny! I'm used to watching Henne, Mallet, And hell even Gardner play QB in the pro style as M's QB and Morris is just not that lol. I'd love to see Gentry or Malzone start simply because of their size (I'm not implying this is a good idea, just a fan being a fan lol) but I will trust in whatever Harbaugh does!

I've heard good things about Gentry and am looking forward to seeing him on the field. That being said all scouting reports say MORRIS has the strongest arm of all the QB's. His decision making may have been suspect the last few years but I believe with proper coaching he will excel. You can't teach arm strength.

was under discussion on one ot the sport shows by a former receiver who had played with Alex in the early days.

He said he just didn't look confident in the huddle, and if the QB didn't believe in the play, how could the rest of the huddle?

The former receiver said he had talked to Smith's current teammates and he is now very confident in the huddle.  The Harbaugh Effect.

Also Scott Mitchell made it to the NFL! Jay Cutler, NFL! Do you know how hard that is? They may "suck" in your mind but the both played QB at the highest levels. Not sure why you use a QB who made the NFL and started for multiple teams as a negative to argue your point?

Gentry is a BEAST.

I'm not so sure O'Korn is an odds on favorite....how many QBs will Michigan have fighting for the job next year?  Frankly I've lost count but I know we have some 3-4 guys minimum that would be pretty much starters for most top tier CFB programs.

EDIT:  Look at his highschool arms and frame...compare to the ESPN picture..he has packed on a fair amount of lean mass.  His scouting report looks intriguing as hell can't wait to see this guy take some snaps.

Who are these 3-4 guys who would be starters for most top tier college football programs? We have 2 guys who were benched at mid level CFB programs, a guy with 5 INTs to 0 TDs, and a bunch of freshman with no experience. I'm not saying we're not going to get a decent guy out of all that, but quantity does not necessarily mean quality yet.

Are you kidding me?

Brandon Peters

O'Korn

Gentry

O'Korn is not a freshman and he has some excellent experience.  Gentry would be a sophmore next year assuming he doesn't start this year.  Brandon Peters was going all rock star in the Elite 11 in Oregon a few weeks back.  There's more in the stable but I'm too tired to remember or look it up.
