Have we fallen THAT low as a program?
I know ha ha just feeling bitter after the CCHA tournament. I wouldn't have wanted to face them again in the tournament since we have not played well against them this year
Well, we won both games at Yost, but we struggled last time. I wanted another shot at them. Also, Western winning would take out one of the "best" teams, so it would not have been a bad thing. We face the winner of UND-DU if we win tonight. Those are the two top teams beside us right now.
Western is not a program to mercilessly mock. Miami, yes. Notre Dame, yes. Minnesota, yes. Northern Michigan even with that annoying as fuck guy with the cymbal stick? Definately. But not poor Western. Let those Broncos win, especially against a WCHA team.
As a Central Michigan student and CMU being bitter rivals with Western, I approve of this post.

You don't even have a hockey team...
Central has a club hockey team. Went to Nationals this year. Did not do too well.
I find the whole Yale losing to be a bit funnier personally.

I like Western's program. They have a great program building in Kalamazoo. Congrats to them for going from last to fourth and a runner-up in the CCHA tournament.
We don't have anything against Western. They beat us pretty bad in the CCHA tourney.
my girlfriend's dad is a big WMU hockey fan and I wanted to see them do well. theyre a really good story and hopefully theyll become a solid program to help keep the ccha afloat in the near future. Plus, that would've been their first ever NCAA tourney win. Theyre now 0-5

Like it or not you guys, the westerns could become our new in-state rival for hockey because state's program is gonna be in the shitter for awhile now with their "coach" whose only experience as a hockey coach was over 20 years ago as an assistant.
But they haven't risen to that magnitude yet, and I don't think they will personally.

I had to upvote this just because at the CCHA finals I ran into a bunch of Jersey Shore/Frat Boy douche baga who had a lot to say about nothing. It serves them right and I hope they enjoy drinking their Natty Light while they cry.
