Lions currently up 3-0 and driving again after Dak threw an int to that CB whose name I cannot spell or pronounce

Reverse should have been a TD. Rookie with a bad assignment, stops mid play rather than hit anyone. Mitchell blocks Lewis into Williams. They had that one dialed up.

Other than that you're seeing an elite pass rush for Dallas even if you only call out Parsons.

Generally playing fine otherwise. Not perfect but ok so far.

What high end players does he work with?  Hutch and I'll hang up and listen.  It's a lot of grinders.  Alim is their 2nd best player on D and out.  Anzalone no one wanted to resign and yelled at Holmes for it.  Probably their 3rd best player.  They don't have the talent of a Browns 49ers Ravens on that side of the ball.

They have devoted resources to the offense it's how the team is built.

LaPorta has missed three blocks today, not two. Williams scores on the reverse if he hits literally anyone instead of stop. He has two whiffs in traditional the run game, each causing a loss of yardage.

It's his worst game as a pro so far. He didn't look this lost in week 1.

This is good prep for the playoffs and for a young team who has zero experience in this type of situation to get some of it in before a real playoff game.  Dallas has way more to play for and lost 2 games in a row while Lions coming off a huge win and clinching the division - will be interesting to see how Lions respond.  Still early.

Not scared as much as timid and unsure. Every offensive player except ASB has had some level of mental breakdown on basic shit. Laporta cost them a TD and 1st down on blocking whiffs alone. The OL can't decide who their man is, etc.

Defensively it's been all over the place from Barnes shitting himself before a safety to great run defense.

I keep stressing this wrt the Rose Bowl that football is as much mental as physical and you can't play tight, unsure or timid. You already lost if an environment or opponent is in your head before the kickoff.

Lions seem unready for this moment right now. All over the place.
