Doubt it. The promotion fine print suggests that they won't be losing money. Discount doesn't cover alcohol, doesn't apply to tip, doesn't apply to groups (or some shit like that), and is capped at 50%. Add in all the extra people coming in for the promotion, they're probably rolling money like Scrouge McDuck this week.

I've been to plenty of restaurants that serve corn.  Any decent Mexican place will have Elote in season.  In addition, there is a Burma place where I live that has an incredible corn dish with shallots, garlic, and spices.

And I find it hard to believe that you've never been to a place that serves grits.

My dad and grandfather drank Goebel's beer when I was growing up.  Used to think it was good stuff when they allowed my brother and I a sip.  It became tough to find at some point, and Grandpa switched to Bush Light.  20-some years passed, and Gradnpa died.  At his funeral, my brother brought a case of Goebel's for old times sake.

I don't think any of us finished a can.  Awful stuff.  Nasty!

Has anyone been there this week for the promotion?  I heard that even though they said that they are fully booked with reservations that there were a lot of empty tables.  Also I heard that they would only honor the promotion if you had a reservation.

Can anyone confirm?  Thanks

Sweet, that's a huge steak Jim has there. I have made the mistake of eating way too much steak. Must not have chewed it enough. One of the most miserable nights in my life.
