Mike Morris just CB'ed as a flip from FSU
by Steve Lorenz
Morris committed to FSU 2½ years ago. As a freshman. Definitely too early to get CBs to FSU.
Morris is one of the guys going blue this weekend/week. He is a good get.
Fire up the bus!
If his brother myles wants to commit....that would be great.
Myles would certainly be the big one...in every way! From the clips I have seen he is the # 1 player in his class...the kid is one incredible LT.
Can he also graduate a year early then?
Better yet, can he enroll this summer.
thought i'd go with a classic.
I love this gif, but it bums me out that this guy is probably dead by now.
Died in 1993
Surely he is referring to Krapohl gaining control of Ward 4.
let's go
Pineapple. Coleslaw. Fin.
"Big" to me implies multiple commits (like 5*'s).
BUCKLE UP
It's honkening.
Mike Sainristil is most likely. DB/slot from New England. (Don Brown Country).
I don't think Sainristil is a take at this time...he's good but not that good. I'm hoping for, at least, Sanguinetti.
I look at their film and I don't know how Sairristil is a 3 star and Sanguinetti is a 4 star. Sainristil looks much better. I don't know how they did at camps though.
I looked at both their films. They both have their strengths and weakness' but I prefer Sainristil because he has that quickness and speed to glue to a guy. Also, We have great CB depth currently therefore he can play in his 4 game limit and still redshirt to work on his technique. Win win scenario either way.
They are different players. Michigan needs safeties and WRs in this class. Sanguinetti is faster and the better athlete-that's why he is a 4* and Sainristil is a 3*. Sanguinetti will excel at both WR and safety. Just watch the kid run-it tells the whole story.
The 2018 class has left me confused about whether we need CBs or safeties mores. 5 DBs and every one of them could play safety and several could play corner or slot corner.
I just don't see it, at least from the film I have watched. Sainristil looks faster and quicker. Sharper cuts, better acceleration, better speed. Maybe it's the competition he is playing against that makes him look better.
It's the competition...South Florida baby...he's running folks down from behind and you see nobody running Sanguinetti down in the open field. They are different athletes-the difference between corner and safety. I believe you are correct that Sainristil is quicker and accelerates better but Sanguinetti catches him very quickly and runs away from him. Sainristil's skills make him the better corner and the great fluidity and top end speed of Sanguinetti makes him the better receiver and safety. They are both very good-I think Michigan (already) has a bunch of/enough Sainristils on their roster and not enough Sanguinettis.
Why not both!! (and Dax too!!)
Get Hill and Cine...and dare folks to throw deep or over the middle...and have two AA safeties.
Couldn’t be a more beautiful day for visitors from the south. I grew up down there. Michigan summers are > Southern summers.
Denver Warren had a tweet this morning that I thought had a double meaning. I’m probably looking far to into this one though.
He said, “ Woke up this morning feeling Blue, but Ian sick.”
I think he may be referring to Ian Stewart. C/o 2020 WR.
Rumor has it we pick up two commits today?
Rumor according to whom?
I so appreciate "whom"...thanks.
Twitter and the like have been pretty quiet for me. Lots of good reactions, but no buzz. Kind of surprised.
All buckled up...
