A boost to our quality of record as Marquette upsets #1 Villanova. This is fresh off beating Top 10 Creighton over the weekend.

Marquette is a completely different team, as is Michigan. 19-4 run to finish the game and a great atmosphere.

'Nova couldn't solve the 1-3-1 and Marquette hit 5 3's on that game ending run. Wojo is as feisty a coach as he was a player.

#18 WVU also beat #2 Kansas and #4 Kentucky is down at the half to Tennessee. #12 Virginia beat #14 Notre Dame by 17 at ND, and #13 Louisville murdered Pitt by 55 at Pitt. NC State also beat #17 Duke at Duke last night.

And as the thread below states, MSU lost at home to #20 Purdue today depsite Miles Bridges scoring a career high 32. MSU is now 4-4 in B1G play and 12-9 overall.

I don't consider Zags a mid major. They're basically a power 5 school because they have a staying power as an great basketball program.

I haven't gotten into college basketball as much as I used to before the new 1 year of college rule. However, this year has been interesting and I am beginning to gain interest once again.

Going to be interesting in this final half of the Big Ten season to see how the contenders and pretenders separate themselves and how strength of schedule plays a part. The middle is so compact right now.
