B1G News: Rutgers' Stadium renamed SHI Stadium
Corporate stadium names usually stink, but this is ridiculous. Maybe this decision will be wiped from existence. Quite corny if you ask me.
Delaney =?
I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I've never heard of that company.
I know them well because my company is in the same business, but I'm not surprised almost no one else has heard of them. It seems strange and more like an ego thing for the company founder than something that has real marketing value. In this context it's an unfortunate acronym of a name - they may not have even thought of that
SHI Stadium? They forget the T at the end.
The Mighty Rutgers Marching Band with Dot the" I" and add the "T" during a running formation supported by The William Tell Overture...........
That game was so much fun...
Regardless of the terrible ending 2016 will always hold a special place in my heart.
I thought for sure the obvious 't' joke would have been made by now
Well that was a shitty assumption now wasn’t it.
They know it's going to be called the Shit Hole right?
Well we already knew they had no O and no D, but apparently they have no T either.
On a related note I have some great personal news. I recently sold the naming rights to my local stadium to the Political Operations Overseas Participatory Assignment and Selection Society.
Losing to rutger was nutty
A stain on the program until the sun burns out
SHI stadium.......how the fuck did we make it through the Dave Brandon era without a similar disaster....?
I can’t believe they consciously walked right into such an easily mockable name.
Oh, c'mon, Don. Of course you believe it.
“Michigan has the Big House and Rutgr has the Shi# House”
Why would any company want their "brand" associated with that stadium, which I can only assume was built on some sort of burial ground
To be fair, "SHI# Stadium" seems more likely for East Lansing than Rugter.
Did OSU steal their extra 't' from Rutgers?
+1 Insightful
Well, I suppose we could now go with "Fence That SHI" or "See Rutgers, See SHI" or something along those lines.
Too bad SHI isn't instead the corporate sponsor for Ohio Stadium, seeing that it's already shaped (and smells) like a gigantic toilet.
Let's see what the Rutgers faithful think...

At least now when people say Rutgers is playing in the Toilet Bowl, they'll be accurate.
Somebody got paid money to approve this decision.... I mean it is just another thing for people to SHIt on us for
cant believe nobodys photoshopped a stadium sign yet..lol
Our football stadium has really gone to SHI IT!
Who got PAID? Crime, crime
SHI and Ash......seem to go together.
Can't wait to try the new SHI sandwich
What would people expect from "The Laughingstock of College Football"?
The embarrassment of this school never ends
The stadium that leaves skid marks.
We take them out behind the "SHI-shed" on Saturday, November 14, 2020!
Lol you said behind.
Im glad this thread is here to entertanus
What marketing team thought it was a good idea to name your stadium SHI Stadium? Then again, it is an accurate portrayal. A shithole stadium for a shithole program.
Just realized this: how funny would it be to be a part of their IT Department? The SHI IT Department?
Brian covered this in Unverified Voracity, 4 days ago
They accidentally dropped the T
did they come up one letter short in the name
Cheryl got her SHI shed.
