Some of those Sparty fans are off-the-wall crazy. I once had a guy figure out who one of my roommates was at Michigan and try contacting/stalking him. The obsession from some of them is horror movie level terrifying.

I mean, I don't think he's going to be particularly transcendent in college for the year he's on campus, but this is a big pickup for Memphis. Heck, Memphis may even make the tourney for the first time in...7 years (they probably wouldn't have made it in 2020 either but not going to ding them for that).

Actually kind of disappointed he didn't go to MSU. The entertainment value would have been priceless, and I don't mean just on the court. It would have been fun to see Tiny Tom squander yet another major talent, and suffer through another mediocre year.
That said, it will also be interesting to see that much athleticism on the same court at Memphis.

Ever since Bates and his camp stupidly booted Akins from that Ypsi Prep team it seemed wise for MSU to sever ties with Emoni.
Also, Penny told Emoni he can play PG. That'll be...interesting.
