22 yo Tom Brady vs. 46 yo Tom Brady
If the Internet can be believed, Tom Brady's 40-yard-dash time at 46 is better than what he did at the combine years ago as a 22-year-old:

saw that earlier today. his time in 2000 was 5.28. if the video is to be believed, his time now is about 5.27. still, for a 46 yr old that's pretty darn fast so good for him. wasn't fast enough to hang onto his supermodel wife, but still fast.

Uhhhh, I don't think speed had anything to do with it based on the info that's out there. He appears to have chosen one more year of football over his wife and family, but I'm sure it's more complicated than that.

My verdict here is that RockinLoud truly believed that XM was serious about Tom Brady getting divorced due to his poor 40 time. The ruling is drawn from a preponderance of evidence, specifically that the defendant wrote the words:
"Uhhhh, I don't think speed had anything to do with it based on the info that's out there"
Based on the thing that was actually written, I sentence RockinLoud to take it easy. Also chill pills are available at local pharmacies.

Pretty sure Twitter removed the functionality that allows external video embed (but not 100% positive). If someone has posted it on Youtube, you can still embed video from YT here on the board.

I think I could beat my 22 year old self at running. Logged 4400+ miles since the pandemic. Almost any other physical activity, LOL, not so much.

Believe it or not, I knew TB as an undergrad. We weren't like super good friends, but because my roommates were cheerleaders (and I was close with the head football writer at the time, TJ Berka), I got access to "b-level" athletes pretty easily. TB fell into this category at Michigan.
TB was super cool and down-to-earth, but he was super unassuming. If you didn't know he played football, you would ignore him. I've seen him down a whole pizza, but he wouldn't touch that stuff today.

I should clarify. My roommates were MALE cheerleaders. With that, the female cheerleaders were always around. Overall, the cheerleaders, while never known or front-and-center, were invited to everything socially important back then. I was, admittedly, a nobody. So I would tag along to some social events with my roommates where by proxy I think people thought I was a cheerleader as well.
A little known fact, TB had a little tryst with Jenna Jameson in the early 00s.

My housemates and I once invited the drum major over to our house when we were having a party. We thought he was cute. He was not as exciting as a drum major should be. He hung out next to the keg, got drunk and sat on our porch until he almost passed out, and really didn't talk to anyone.

Good for him. Excellent time for a 46 year old. Not great for a 22 year old professional athlete. Does show he put in the work, but we knew that. Shows work ethic can beat out talent.

Old guy confirms the following: this is not hard to believe - at all. Was in better shape at 50 than I was in my 20s. More muscle mass, etc. Only thing that might have deteriorated from early 20s by 50 was pure reaction time(s).
