"Meh, we'll figure it out later" is seriously your answer on climate change? I don't mean to start an argument, but damn that's a hot take.

12/03/2018 - 1:26pm This makes no sense to me…

This makes no sense to me. Based on resume it should be Gonzaga, Michigan, Duke, Kansas, etc...

11/29/2018 - 12:12pm…

Can someone explain why ESPN writes about Kansas (5-0, d. (10) MSU, (5) Tenn)  "The Jayhawks have looked like a No. 1 team, and they have the résumé of a No. 1 team" and Michigan (7-0, d. (11) Villanova, (7) UNC) doesn't? Further, ESPN goes on to say that "a top tier has emerged in some order: Kansas, Gonzaga, and Duke" and that Michigan is in a "best of the rest" with Nevada, Virginia, etc.

What is it that makes Kansas' resume any better than Michigan's? Why are they CLEARLY the number 1 team? I can get behind Gonzaga being number 1 after they knocked off a very talented Duke, but Kansas hasn't done anything more than Michigan.

11/25/2018 - 1:02pm My guess is that Peters has…

My guess is that Peters has already informed the coaching staff that he is transferring. They gave him some work to reward him and put down some tape but they have to prepare the QBs that are staying (DMac, Milton).

USC should try to poach Mike Leach. He'd be perfect and would totally fit in to nutty LA culture.

11/20/2018 - 8:18pm It's loss to USC was heavily…

It's loss to USC was heavily influenced by an overturned targeting call that the conference’s senior vice president of business affairs insisted be overturned. Otherwise, great chance they win that game.

Wasn't it Mike Hart that went over to the tunnel when they were carting off Edwards to check and see if he was ok? I definitely saw an IU coach go over there and it looked like Hart.

11/18/2018 - 11:02am I was listening to ESPN…

I was listening to ESPN radio last night and they completely admitted that they were hoping the Commitee moved teams around and “shook things up” so they’d have something to talk about on their hour long CFP show. One guy even said he’d move Georgia to #4 this week because he could just move Michigan back there after OSU because it’d “get the fans talking”. They literally do not care about accuracy, only ratings for their dumb shows.

11/09/2018 - 12:09pm I don't think there is a…

I don't think there is a scenario - hell, we're not even sure Michigan makes it in even if they DO beat OSU.

10/30/2018 - 7:24pm It's just the overvaluation…

It's just the overvaluation of the SEC. If LSU loses this weekend it's possible they only drop to 4 or 5. It's silly. Week 2 could very well be 1) Alabama 2) Clemson 3) Notre Dame 4) Georgia 5) LSU 6) Michigan

10/30/2018 - 7:19pm LSU at 3 seams dumb.

LSU at 3 seems dumb.

Detlef Schrempf maybe?

10/23/2018 - 4:00pm To your point #4: I think…

To your point #4: I think Frost has a pretty long career at Nebraska if if he isn’t that successful. They are kind of in the same boat as us - if Harbaugh hadn’t worked out, there is no one to go to - when you have the alumnus coach who has been excellent every where and even he can’t turn your program around - where do you turn next?

10/14/2018 - 1:28pm Are we though? Alabama,…

Are we though? Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, and one of Georgia/LSU. None of those teams have any hard games left on their schedule and all are ranked above us. The only really decent team we have left to get a win against is OSU. I can totally see winning out and getting left out of the playoff.

Why not allow empty water bottles (ie. Hydroflask) and have water fill stations like they do at countless airports? Would this be a good solution to the problem?

Wenatchee, WA

300 days of sunshine

Amazing outdoors and mountains

Prime whitewater rivers just a short drive

All of the Pacific NW is within driving distance (Seattle/Vancouver/Portland, Oregon Coast, etc)

Great fruit

Great wine

Great beer

Legal marijuana (if you’re into that)

Fiber to most homes (1GB symmetrical, yes please!) thanks to PUD

No state income tax

Pretty hot summers/cold winters (I miss my Seattle temperate zone)

Way overpriced housing (seems to be universal to Washington)

Lot of whiners in this thread.

04/25/2018 - 12:22pm Definitely Zion NP is my

Definitely Zion NP is my favorite so far. Yosemite has far too many people and for that reason it’s probably near the bottom of my list. Grand Canyon NP is awesome - got a non-commercial permit to raft the Colorado through it next year so that might take over number 1 at that point.

04/12/2018 - 4:33pm All I know is they have

All I know is they have talked about “spinning off” cable systems (wherein it’s a new company but they retain a large portion of it) when they wanted to purchase Time Warner so as not to be too big. Call it what you will, that seems like a pretty obvious case of trying to maintain influence while not running afoul of the government and anti-trust laws.

04/12/2018 - 3:56pm Midco is 49% owned by Comcast

Midco is 49% owned by Comcast so not that surprising. (owning “minority” stakes in companies is one of the ways Comcast has major influence but stays out of the monopoly crosshairs)

04/02/2018 - 7:39pm Excellent!

This is why diversity matters.

Who is the comedian that voted for Michigan State? Did he just screw up and really meant Michigan?

08/01/2017 - 1:02pm Range

My only issue with EVs is the range. For those who drive a lot or are in more rural areas, 200 mile range just will not cut it. Once battery technology can push that range out the 350/400 miles then we are in business. Especially with Tesla's new solar shingles.

05/01/2017 - 4:52pm Custom apparel

Those custom pullovers the team was rocking are badass. It's not often you see a company create something exclusive like that which they don't try to monetize to the general public. Very cool.

01/30/2017 - 3:55pm Can sports writers write

Can sports writers write about sports AND politics though? Can they be separated? I ask the question because we often tell people that don't like certain board topics (jerseys, recruiting, etc.) to just. It click on that link. Do we have that same policy for our writers? If a writer for MGoBlog wants to write about politics should he just get another blog or do we feel they need to stay out of it entirely? I think it's an interesting topic that people can discuss in a civil manner - I suspect there's plenty of agreement between people of differing political ideologies on this topic.

01/22/2017 - 7:43pm Tom Brady with 60 postseason

Tom Brady with 60 postseason touchdown passes - Number 1 by far. The closest to him is actually Joe Montana with 45. That's just insane dominance.

12/25/2016 - 4:24pm Pretty much sold out

Pretty much sold out everywhere. I have the gray one and wanted to get the blue one for Christmas and most places including Nike only had small or medium.

12/12/2016 - 4:38pm Seeing him on screen plays -

Seeing him on screen plays - I think he can be very effective in that role. There are some backs (James White) who almost exclusively catch out of the backfield in the NFL and I think Isaac could be very good at that job.
