Program alert for y'all. ESPN is doing a series on "Before they were Pros." Tom Brady's game will be the 1999 Citrus Bowl and will air at 1 PM on ESPNU.

Being a Gen-Z, I've only watched one other replay of Tom Brady, which was the 2000 Orange Bowl, so I am looking forward to taking a glance or two.

Theozone published an article on 10 fun facts about Michigan football.  They basically focused on how overrated they believe Brady is and how bad UM was during the RR & Hoke eras.  We all know Brady made himself famous in the NFL more so than at UM...like duh.  And, the RR & Hoke eras were some of the worst years in UM football history.  They also conveniently ignored the Cooper era numbers.  Here are some of their points.

In this century (millenium), there have been more United States presidents than Michigan football wins over Ohio State.

During the go ahead drive last night, Tom Terrific passed the Heisman Trophy runner up (from TN) for most passing yards in regular season and play-offs combined.  Drew Brees  owns the all-time regular season passing yardage mark.

In the process, Brady became the first QB with over 80,000 passing yards.

Boston.com has a write up on Brady and his college years. I'm sure many of you know his story and may even have it memorized by now, but it's always nice to read about his time at Michigan.

In case you didn't see this before last evenings Patriots - Falcons game.

Tom wasn't the only Pats player to do this, but it says a lot about his character.

Edit;

I saw a tweet about Brady and some other players taking the time to give high-fives to members of the military before the game and thought it was a nice gesture on their part to show their appreciation to those who serve our country. As a veteran myself, I appreciate when someone takes the time to say, "thank you for your service.", and I always reply, "your welcome."

Seeing as how Tom Brady took part, and he played football here, is an alum, and has supported this University, I thought it was something positive.

In no way, was I making a political statement. If that's what you took from this, well it's just.....sad.
