'12 MI LB Mario Ojemudia (MSU Offer)
Michigan is riding a wave of simply having better recruiters than MSU does Dantonio puts how coaches are as coaches above as more value than as recruiters and that is reflective of the coaches he has added the last couple of years.
Um...
I'm loving how they all recognize that UM wouldn't accept Burbridge due to grades, and they make it sound like elitism. I think this comment sums it up.
It's like come on man just make an attempt to throw a comma in your sentence. Hell, even if it is wrong, just make it look like you tried.
As I probably have a grammer problem with mine. It is pretty funny watching sparty freak out over losing their pipeline.
...and will be sure to use it in a speech as soon as I'm able to decipher what it means.
Well, I'm yellin' and we're playin'
But I don't know what I'm sayin'
What's the message I'm conveyin'?
Can you tell me what I'm sayin'?
So have you got some idea?
Didn't think so
Well, I'll see ya
Sayonara, sayonawa
Ayonawa, hodinawa
Odinaya, yodinaya
Yaddayadda, yaaahyaaah
Ayiyaaaaaah!
I was skeptical about Hoke, but it appears he and Mattison have some serious recruiting mojo!
I keep thinking how circumstances outside one's control shape the outcome. Hoke has everything going right - all the way up to OSU's pojected implosion. RR never got any breaks. I am sure RR did enough things wrong too - but it seems like the Universe just wasn't in favor of him at UM while Hoke seems to be had a full swig of Felix Felicis. I am not complaining - anything that helps UM win is fine by me.
After you're finished checking out the recruiting thread, check out this ridiculous post I found on the main RCMB.
Makes me happy that Michigan fans actually have a message board which is (realtively speaking) mostly about Michigan.
That is almost as funny as the UT MS paint thread about awkward sexual encounters
Thank you for handing me that warp whistle to hilarity!
Talk about living up to stereotypes.
It sounds like he's generally regarded as a sought after player. However, it seemed to me that we'd only take 2 DEs and they would be Godin and Wormley. Godin is committing soon and Wormley is a guy we'l take anytime.
Does this mean we're taking 5 DLs then? Because we need to true DTs (Sheldon Day, and O'Brien or Pipkins or guys like that) and Ojemudia means we'll probably take 3 DEs. Do we have room for that? I thought no, especially with 4 LBs and seemingly 3 TEs.
From some things I've read/heard Godin may wind up a DT. Even if it's not true, I'd bet they would consider taking three DEs.
Where does the scholarship come from though? We're already looking really tight.
If we take 3 DEs and 2 DTs, that's 5 DL. We already have 4 LBs, and if we take 2 DBs, 1 S and 1 CB, that's 11 on defense. It looks like we'll take 3 TE/WRs when Thompson commits, and I assume either a QB or RB, if not both. That's 15 before the OL. We already have 2 OL, so that's 17. If the coaches get 6 OL like they want, we'd need 21 scholarships, which would basically mean 3 more people not named Terrence Robinson would need to transfer. I don't think we'll get there.
I think we will. This is purely my conjecture, but I think between a coaching change and typical college flakiness/randomness, I think we'll see a few more guys drop off or head to programs like the Pitt guys. I don't have any evidence for this, just a guess.
I agree, though, that I never like hoping for players to leave the program. That just seems too close to the SEC/Oversign-ey border to me.
i wonder how much the departure of Enos to Central has affected their recruiting. Story was that he was good on the recruiting trail.
also, i kind of like it over here in the sidebar, its like the bar in the alley that all the cool people go to.
That thread makes for a very entertaining read.
User Paranoidandroid even states that:
"Burbidge is apparently visiting UM with Mario this weekend..This is from a reliable person in the know. I still think he will end up at MSU. This is starting to get out of hand though, MD better stop under estimating Hoke and Mattison cause these kids are taking the bait."
Yeah cause thats the problem, Dantonio is clearly under estimating the Hoke and Mattison combination. /s
