Totally agree. I don’t know…

Totally agree. I don’t know why we haven’t cancelled all games except Ohio State and just play them every week until we beat them. Get on it, Harbaugh!

My favorite bit on this blog…

My favorite bit on this blog is how we love these guys and they should win everything, but they suck and aren’t good enough to go pro.

I understand what the NFL is…

I understand what the NFL is doing. But by making it a strict liability offense, it's turned into a farce. Why not just go back to the in-the-grasp rule? People complained then that it didn't allow a QB to break a tackle but at least it was fair both ways.

As we know, nothing is 100

As we know, nothing is 100 percent in law, so I’m 99 percent sure this law also violates the Commerce Clause by restricting interstate trade and movement. They could maybe enforce a law requiring some money to be paid back. But an absolute ban on moving s company?

Also, without having read the law, if there isn’t some kind of time passage from the receipt of public money that would allow the team to move, then simply any tax break given at any time would ultimately render the team locked to the state. Can’t see how that’s constitutional but I look forward to hearing the argument.

Who could forget the Haloscan

Who could forget the Haloscan Wars that took place during the coaching search that led to Rich Rodriguez being hired?  And the guy who kept pushing for Jim Grobe, which seems pretty funny but probably would have gone better than the Rich Rod Era did.

I just wish it would stop

I just wish it would stop being reported as a trade for a prospect. Call it what it is: "Tigers Trade Upton for Minor League Pitcher."

Theoretically, MSU has no say

Theoretically, MSU has no say in ELPD's police report. But realistically, you are probably correct.

EDIT: Reread it and realized it was MSU police. Disregard. Carry on.

Tom Brady is the correct

Tom Brady is the correct answer. No offense to any current or former player but adding the greatest QB of all time seems like a good idea.

We were also mediocre more often than not over the last 12 times we've played.

It'll be interesting. LVG had built a young core for a future team. Morinho isn't exactly known for his use and development of young players.

The small gloves offer no

The small gloves offer no protection for the head. They are merely to protect the hands and that's it. It's part of the reason some guys go down from shots that don't look that dangerous compared to what you see in boxing, yet they are clearly dazed. I'd argue that if there's anything "safer "about the small gloves, it's that it takes less of a shot to knock a guy out.

Having said that, this is about money. It's always about money. McGregor knows he's UFC's biggest draw and wants to be paid accordingly for what was to be the company's biggest show in years.

STP is universally

STP is universally underrated. Branded as a Pearl Jam imitator because of Core (and really, almost every band in that era had some grunge influence, thus, sounded a little like Pearl Jam) but they were much more than that.

The best part of all of this

The best part of all of this is all of the crybaby Protect Spring Break media morons jumping on like Bert and Dantonio trumped us here. Does anyone honestly think they were going to show anything in this open scrimmage? It's going to be a watered down version of the spring scrimmage. These guys showing up are just going to make the event even bigger than it has already been made by all the attention.

Harbaugh has to feel like Hans Gruber when the FBI cut the power at Nakatomi and opened the vault.

You shouldn't be embarrassed

You shouldn't be embarrassed about liking something that isn't illegal or immoral. Why do you care what anyone else thinks about what you watch on TV?

Beilein and the BB team

Beilein and the BB team should feel pretty happy that Harbaugh/signing day is taking the spotlight off of that bare-butt spanking they took last night. That was the basketball equivalent of the 2007 Oregon game.

Who would sign a no compete

Who would sign a no compete clause in an assistant coaching contract? It would likely be unenforceable unless it was really limited in scope, like going to a school within the conference. Even then, you'd limit your candidates to the guys who are just happy to have a job.

I don't understand the Durkin

I don't understand the Durkin vitriol. Prior to 12 noon last Saturday, he was a defensive wizard. Now he's the bastard son of GERG and Justin Boren. I know we're not used to our assistants actually being coveted by anyone, but it's not the end of the world.

For me, it's either the

For me, it's either the Sterling Sharpe playoff game mentioned above or the one where they lost to Minnesota after a scorching comeback because Muhlbach rolled the snap on the extra point (I don't remember the year but Joey Harrington was involved).

It's a fair point, but

It's a fair point, but Michigan gets PSU, who is perceived as the same class of team (lol or not) the week before OSU. So it's not as if UM plays Rutgers that week. I think the league tried to set these weeks up as play in games for the division title.

The odd thing is that MSU

The odd thing is that MSU also plays UM and OSU both on the road in the same year. Hollis seems universally respected. It made so much sense to keep the schedule as it was, thus OSU, UM and MSU would all have the split home-road with the other two in the same year. Yet, MSU and UM will have that disadvantage every other year.

It more suggests the power of Ohio State, and perhaps the conference's desire to keep its only consistent power program in that position, as more of a motivator that it would be to stick it to Brandon. Hollis seems universally respected and they stuck it to MSU too.

Along with their fantastic written content, I'll miss the catalog of excellent podcasts that occupied my commute. MGoPod/Radio only gets me through three days. What am I going to do without Barnwell/Mays, Wesley Morris and Cheap Heat?
