Joe Boisture to transfer from MSU
Seems like he would fit nicely into the passing attack that Borges wants to implement
January 20th, 2011 at 6:18 PM ^
You do remember him cratering everywhere he went, right?
January 20th, 2011 at 9:14 PM ^
I guess you could say he's been "Dantonio'd". Because, you know, every single transfer is 100% the fault of the head coach.
January 20th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
Those are the ground rules from this day forth. +1.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:19 PM ^
No Thank You. He is transferring because he is not good probably, no offense to him, but we can do better.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:11 PM ^
Who is MSU's backup QB with Boisture's departure?
January 20th, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
Andrew Maxwell
January 20th, 2011 at 6:19 PM ^
bound.
January 20th, 2011 at 8:04 PM ^
January 20th, 2011 at 9:14 PM ^
Correction: MAC-esque bound.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
And isn't Gardner > Boisture, anyway? And wouldn't going after Boisture be too much of a signal that Michigan is going to go with statues at QB, which could raise alarm bells for Denard ... and possibly Gardner?
January 20th, 2011 at 6:21 PM ^
Does he come with a ski mask or is that sold separately?
January 20th, 2011 at 6:30 PM ^
ZING!!!
January 20th, 2011 at 7:03 PM ^
Just to let the mgoblog community know, this is my favorite rapper.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
Thank you. Who the hell is that?
January 20th, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
Young Buck is money. I just thought the picture was very fitting for yostlovesme's ski mask comment.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:21 PM ^
Never heard of him, but I dont really listen to rap. Any songs I might know?
January 21st, 2011 at 3:16 PM ^

January 20th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
Dammit, I'm getting old and can't relate to the younger crowd. I just turned Larry Bird (33) and now it looks like I'm ready to join the "Down in Front" crowd. Crap.

didnt boisture finish 11th at that QB camp that only has 11 players? the one where gardner finished top 3?
January 20th, 2011 at 6:25 PM ^
He finished 12th out of 12, even though the name is Elite 11. Confusing, I know.
January 20th, 2011 at 8:03 PM ^
Sorta like the Big Ten.
January 20th, 2011 at 10:22 PM ^
no, kinda more like the B1G TEN
January 20th, 2011 at 6:26 PM ^
His senior year numbers were hilarious. They were so bad his senior year that a paper wrote a really aggressive article asking why the hell he was an Army All-American.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:09 PM ^
roasted
January 20th, 2011 at 8:36 PM ^
4 tds 8 picks and QB rating of 61. His back up had a rating of 77.

the author is surprisingly passionate
January 20th, 2011 at 10:32 PM ^
A CMU blogger at MLIVE wrote this one.
Schmid: Look if you guys from Michigan want to keep beating me up about a selection. I already had you calling in about Edwin Baker [2009 Michigan State commit] last year. I understand that Joe has taken a lot of grief for his year at Saline.I have no affiliation or affinity for the University of MIchigan. I cover Central Michigan sports for a website called MLIVE. I am not trying to condemn the decision or make Joe look bad. I am simply interested as a college football fan how a player with twice as many interceptions as touchdowns could be selected to the most prestigious All Star game in the country.
Schmid: What do you want us to do...un-invite him? That's not going to happen. I have nothing else to say to you.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:12 PM ^
I remember something like that. But didn't the Freep gush about him?
January 20th, 2011 at 6:22 PM ^
Likely won't happen as your cannot receive a football scholarship at another big ten school.
January 20th, 2011 at 10:18 PM ^
says who?
January 20th, 2011 at 10:44 PM ^
The Big Ten.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
No thanks. You know how the old saying goes, once you go Sparty you can always fuck off. I think this is Shakespeare.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:26 PM ^
I did remember reading that. Nice catch.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
Why would anyone leave SPARTA? Are you serious? Good luck to him.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:46 PM ^
It would appear he is confused about his profession.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
that the question "spartans - what is your profession?" is necessary (isn't it obvious what they do?), or actually answered?
This question would be more interesting if put to my spartan brethren.
"Aoo aoo aoo" is, at best, some kind of indecipherable grunt. It doesn't answer the question. It never made sense to me; I always thought it was stupid and hated hearing it at football games.
/getoffmylawn,etc...
BTW, your comment was very funny, and I indeed laughed out loud, which almost never happens.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:22 PM ^
I only got a B in ancient greek languages, but if my translation is correct "aoo aoo aoo" means "pizza delivery."
/ stupid overused joke.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:23 PM ^
I think you meant to say "Spartan Brahthren"
January 20th, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
Look at his offer sheet... when you're a 4* QB from Michigan with offers from just MSU and Wisconsin... you're probably overrated. Otherwise Indiana, NWestern, Iowa, Illinois, Minny, ect ect ect would've offered him too.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:25 PM ^
Who didn't see this coming? He's leaving because he sucks - he won't even start in the MAC. I've never been more stumped by a recruits ranking than with him.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:27 PM ^
I had no idea what the recruiting services were looking at. He was probably the most overrated recruit I have ever seen.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:30 PM ^
and one of our guys: Brett Gallimore. His recruiting ranking was based mostly on a clip of him blocking a guy into the kicking net on the sideline.
January 20th, 2011 at 9:58 PM ^
you guys are assholes.
hate the program, not the kid.
January 20th, 2011 at 6:32 PM ^
I am right there with you
January 20th, 2011 at 6:38 PM ^
"He's committed to my Spartans? He must be a four star so we can say we're beating Michigan at in-state recruiting"
