Loved Cliff Notes Theater.
Also, travelling Detroit area on 9/11 listening to them. In my little world, they will always be a part of that fateful day. Did as well in retrospect as could be expected.

|08/27/2018 - 2:46pm||Just one time I’d like…||
Just one time I’d like someone who is in charge of things to do the right thing, speak the truth and take a stand. Delaney, Hollis, Dantonio, Engler, Simon, Smith (G&Z), Drake, Meyer, JoePa, Durkin, etc. The List could go on and on and on. Money and Power continue to corrupt our sport. So I get Brian’s take.
However, I watched these kids travel to Europe like a family, bust ass for their coach and teammates, and prepare for a season that they can’t wait to play. I’m 100% in for them, and for the good that’s left in the sport!
Go Blue. To Hell with Notre Dame.
|08/23/2018 - 9:19pm||I don’t remember any of what…||
I don’t remember any of what you’re talking about. Bad memory. Maybe the meds I’m on.
|08/02/2018 - 3:08pm||It’s spelled out in his…||
It’s spelled out in his contract what he should have done. Report it to his superiors. That’s it. He knew about it. He didn’t follow university guidelines.
Had he reported it, he then could have worked with/or taken the advice of the administration to either fire Smith or keep him on staff. Either way, he’d be clean because he followed the guidelines spelled out in his contract, whether that was in his old contract or new.
He didn’t follow protocol, then lied.
Police involvement, Mrs.Smith, Urban’s wife, Earl Bruce, etc. doesn’t matter. He had a responsibility to report. He didn’t. It’s just now a matter of whether OSU deems it a fireable offense.

At least Bob Evans got it right.
|08/01/2018 - 9:17pm||Urban has been described as…||
Urban has been described as a micromanager, taking it upon himself to know finite details about his players and coaches.
He also describes his wife as his confidante and best friend, and that they, “share everything.”
There is just no way that he didn’t at least know something about Zach Smith and his abusive relationship with his spouse.
I’m just waiting to see whether OSU does the right thing, or goes the route of MSU and circles the wagons. It’s a 50-50 proposition. I wouldn’t be surprised either way.
|06/15/2017 - 12:43pm||John 5||
John 5 is incredible. His work with Rob Zombie doesn't do him justice. His solo albums are indescribable. He also does a lot of session work in all different genres. Crazy talent that's always pushing himself.

|12/23/2016 - 1:33pm||Grievances||
1) At minimum, the second best team in college football is not in the playoffs.
2) It's not a 'Natty' it's a National Championship.
3) Wisky is nothing. It's either whiskey - which is wonderful - or Wisconsin, which is an average to above averge college football team.
|10/18/2016 - 11:40am||Offense vs Defense||
Not sure how this defense can be anything but #1. Offense is good but not #3. Rankings do not compute.
|09/30/2016 - 3:15pm||Game||
Our offense is a little better than theirs. Our defense is a little better than theirs. Our special teams are definitely better than theirs. Our coaching staff is better than theirs. The only way we lose is turnovers. If we win that battle, I expect an early grind turning into a comfortable victory.
|09/30/2016 - 10:51am||Badger Friend||
Badger friend refuses to watch the game with us. He feels the loss coming and doesn't want to have a tantrum and throw things in front of our other friends and family. He will watch it alone in his basement. Which I totally respect. I root for Bucky every other week of the year for him.
|09/28/2016 - 9:37am||MSU vs Wisconsin||
These 3 plays made the difference in an otherwise pretty even game:
1) Fumble return for touchdown
2) Dropped punt snap
3) TOC pick instead of hitting Corley wide open in the endzone
I know that most games come down to a few plays, but this definitely wasn't Wisconsin domination. Domination is what happened in Ann Arbor Saturday.
Wisconsin's QB made some great throws, for sure, but there were a few that were poor decisions that worked out well for them. There were at least 2 that could have been picked, but were completed instead. It was a perfect storm for Wisconsin to win as big as they did. Granted overall, I think they were better. Their D-line was impressive, but 16-13 is what it felt like after rewatching.
Point being; if M can win comfortably vs a Wisconsin team that was pretty evenly matched with Sparty, then I see this train rolling comfortably into Columbus undefeated. So yes, this game will adjust my expectations. I was thinking 10-2 with a win over Sparty. Big win here, and 11-1 should be the floor.
|09/01/2016 - 3:41pm||I will attend||
And I will Boo in protest until I pass out, I'll get up, and then Boo some more. Then leave. I hate PSU. Hatred like no other.

I understand if JH wants to stay in the NFL. But despite the extenuating circumstances (contract, possible trade, family) if he chooses the Raiders or Jets over us, that will hurt.
|11/23/2013 - 6:23pm||My world is confused||
RichRod in his 2nd year at Arizona is beating up on Oregon with a JUCO transfer qb. Hoke in year three with a 4/5 star quarterback was embarrassed this same day by Iowa.

|10/25/2013 - 12:25pm||Craft beers||
Craft beers are like music, politics, religion, etc. You like what you like and you can find others that agree with you. But those that disagree, can be very hard to understand.
|10/24/2013 - 7:40pm||Referees||
The referees are pretty far down on my list of concerns for the game. Number 1 - Borges play calling. Number 2 - Turnovers.
If Borges calls a decent game and we win the turnover battle, I think it's a 7-10 point victory.
Refereeing is somewhere down on the list after stopping their run game and making Cook move his feet.
|10/17/2013 - 7:44am||PSU||
It may be debatable, but I believe that as a team M is more talented and has more depth than PSU. The difference was O'Brien vs. Borges. Every offensive play BOB attempted to put his players in an advantageous position, Borges, not so much. If BOB coordinated the M offense, we win by 3 TDs.
|10/12/2013 - 7:02am||On my way to the game now.||
We score more touchdowns. They kick more field goals.

I'm reminded often of the possible dis concordance of head trauma/surgery with functionality. PG, as you know, was an interesting case. I think of him often, especially in regards to frontal lobe injuries.

|10/12/2012 - 7:39am||Perhaps you missed my point||
I have looked at studies on cost/benefit/risk of mammography. That's my job. My point is: not only do the studies advocate for screening mammography, but I anecdotally see the benefits daily as well (N = 1). Perhaps you should read them too, prior to clumping PSA with screening mammography. Not the same animal.
|10/12/2012 - 12:37am||Radiation and Screening||
Yes, dietary and environmental factors affect breast cancer development, however, to propose the minimal radiation dose used for a mammogram is cancer causing is false. There are multiple modalities that can be used to detect small, non palpable cancers. MRI, ultrasound and mammography all have their roles, with mammography being the most cost effective and efficient for screening. Please cite your reference that proposes screening mammography CAUSES cancer.
As a radiologist, I read thousands of mammograms a year, and the benefits are proven daily.

Tennessee led when RichRod was here. Since the coaching change, we are in a much better position. If Hoke has a decent year and makes a push, I expect him to be blue. The family is very much fans of the program. He's basically ours to lose at this point.

|01/13/2011 - 11:48am||Brandon||
From the comments here, Brandon has not united the fan base with this hire as he said he would. That is most disappointing.
I supported RR. I will support Hoke. Not a big fan of Brandon.

|01/06/2011 - 11:43pm||Confusing sporting situation||
I'm nearly as confused about this as I was at the Midget Jai Alai World Championships in '99. I swear the short bastard in the yellow jersey was effing it up on purpose only because I bet on him. Very confusing.
|01/05/2011 - 5:28pm||Brandon||
While I am trying to give DB the benefit of doubt in that he has a plan in place, where I think he has failed is in communication. He has literally millions of people, including alumni and fans, hanging on his every word and yet does not communicate that he has been diligently pursuing coaching options should it not work out with RR. He doesn't need to name names, but I would feel better about the situation if he demonstrated his understanding of the urgency of the situation.
It seems as though he is just starting a search today, if that's true, I think he has failed. If that's not true, he needs to communicate it with all us crazies speculating our asses off. A little more information from him would go a long way.
|11/10/2010 - 12:56am||Dick Rod||
That's really funny! I really want all our recruits calling their future coach a dick. That would be great. Kids got an awesome sense of humor. I was wrong. Please come to Michigan!
|11/09/2010 - 9:46pm||Funny video?||
Did you seriously laugh at either video? It's just dumb. How many ways can I draw attention to myself? Let me count the ways.
It's disrespectful to Kiffin which I know that no one has trouble with, but he's also making fun of those players who do choose USC. I doubt he's genuine in his discussion of Michigan, so in a way, he's making fun of those players who are "All In."
He's showing lack of respect for the process as well as the people involved. Please young Mr. Arnett, go anywhere but Michigan.
|10/25/2010 - 11:05pm||Cowboys||
Dallas has given up. Very disappointing. Offensively incompetent, defensively, no effort. Sad to watch, unless you are a Giants fan.
|10/25/2010 - 10:18pm||Tickets||
I'm going to the game and taking the family. Unfortunately there are 5 of us. We will split up 3 and 2 if needed, but would love 5 together. Tough to find so far on eBay or stub hub. Anyone with suggestions, let me know. Thanks for the help.
|10/11/2010 - 5:10pm||Al Davis said it.||
"Just win, baby."
Little brother, BHGP, Buckeyes. They'll all go away quietly when we beat them. Until then, get used to it. We probably have another year or two to put up with this until our defense is up to speed.
|09/27/2010 - 2:08pm||Um . . . No||
Who wants to explain this to Mr. BJ?
|09/27/2010 - 10:10am||Running up the score||
Being a coach (basketball, not football, but situationally can be similar) it is a difficult position to be in when dominating an opponent. I've been on both sides of blowouts, neither are fun. When winning, kids can get lazy, and develop bad habits. When playing backups in a blowout, I keep the O and D simple and concentrate on execution. If I run up the score with my third string vs. their starters, so be it. At some point the onus is on your opposition to stop you.
Halfback pass to Pryor, questionable. Off tackle runs for 4th quarter touchdowns are EMU's fault. They're just bad.
|09/16/2010 - 4:43pm||Coaches||
If it was John L. vs. Charlie I'd root for MSU. As a GVSU grad I have the urge to root for ND. Bonus: Dantonio is a douche.
|09/10/2010 - 11:15am||Predictions||
If I'm BK, I go max protect and throw it deep to Floyd at least every other play. They guy really is a man among boys. I just can't see our CB's consistently out-playing him for the ball.
Realistically, I was not overly impressed with Crist's accuracy, particularly when pressured. We send the house, they max protect, and lots of big plays both ways.
We win a shootout 77-76. Webb blocks the extra point in OT.
|09/06/2010 - 11:38am||Coaches||
So much credit for the Robinson breakout must go to the coaches. Rod Smith, Calvin Magee and Rodriguez have done a spectacular job with a raw, albeit extremely talented young man. The play calling was superb. Our offensive RPS has to be a high number.
Robinson, of course, has put in the work, but kudos to this coaching staff for that performance Saturday. They placed those kids in a position to succeed time and again.
|09/05/2010 - 9:24am||Tate||
Tate's actions (sitting on the bench while team celebrates a big victory) were the exact opposite of Bo's "The Team" speech.
