So. Who is traveling the farthest to come to the UCONN game?

It's obviously not me because I'm only in Chicago.

Where's everybody coming from?

Drove in last Saturday with the family. Stopped for lunch in State College, PA (imagine Ann Arbor if they took everything that's good out of it). Stopped for dinner in Oberlin, OH (wife's alma mater, cute little campus). Arrived in Detroit area around 10:00 PM. Immediately got in screaming fight with (bluehair) stepfather about RichRod. Spending the week Up North with real father (also bluehair). Trying to avoid talking about RichRod. Wife giving me dirty looks every time the subject of Michigan football comes up.

I'm coming up from Pittsburgh Friday evening. I'll be staying at my parents' house in Monroe and arrive in Ann Arbor Saturday morning to indoctrinate the girlfriend to Michigan's gameday experience.

I am traveling the farthest in terms of leaving an unholy place and coming to celebrate with those who too have been enlightened... from C-bus, 9 miles from the world's largest toilet seat

I am coming from Mt. Pleasant which is about a 2.5 hour trip (with stops) but that drive easily feels twice as long especially after M has lost to OSU.

On the plus side I will be taking my new wife to see her 2nd game in the Big House which I am pumped for b/c now she has no reason to try to escape game days and has to deal with it the rest of her life :)

I'm driving from upstate NY (Rochester area) about an 8 hour trip.  Well worth it to see the Maize and Blue and Brock!!!  Hope to see you all there.  Anyone got any tailgates I might be welcome to stop at?  Always great talking Michigan football with people that actually know Michigan football.

Since the question is who's travelling the farthest to get to the game and mentions nothing about travelling home afterward (to an apartment on Washtenaw), I think I've got this one down. I'm leaving Shanghai saturday and connecting in Tokyo and Minneapolis, hopefully getting in to Detroit in the early afternoon (and then straight to the stadium). Keep in mind my flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis involves leaving at noon and arriving three minutes to noon, which is, and probably will always be, a complete mindfuck.

But that's only if these damn typhoons don't mess up my plan.
