where have you been? You haven't seen that around for the last year?
Legal citizen or not, he

Legal citizen or not, he doesn't deserve to be called an American. That's not his anthem.

Me too I'm a Dileo, no relation.
Ran my first 5k... ...and my 19 month old son met me at the finish with some Washtenaw Dairy doughnuts.
I see what you did there

I jusst saw that episode on DVR last night

Grew up in MA

I grew up in Massachusetts and I remember seeing the winged helmet on TV. College football wasn't big there, so I watched the national games as a kid and loved the helmets. The fab five intrigued me in middle school.

I guess it may have started then, but I really jumped in when I went to Ann Arbor for grad school. My plan was to get me degree and move back east. That was 10 years ago. I'm still in AA and an avid MGoBlog disciple.

Junior

Can I vote for Junior?

Can't erase what happened

Even if Michigan plays App State every year for the next 99 years and destroys them in every game, no one will forget that first one. There is no revenge to be had.

tourneys

I played a few years for the Michigan Rugby Club. I wish the sport was more popular so there were more teams.

The Rugby World Cup is coming up this fall in New Zealand. That is a 15s format- 15 players a side. The collegiate championship today is 7s. 7s is a much faster, wide open game, but I love 15s.

Rugby is back in the Olympics in Brazil in 2016 as 7s. We are the reigning gold medalists from when it was last played in 1924. No one' beating that streak.

Congrats

I've been an MGoDad for 6 months. What I'll add is have fun and stay happy. If you're happy the baby will respond. They know...

Oh, yeah ... buy some OxyClean

North Korea...

...is best Korea

Closest?

I'm going about 0.2 miles

She did come back.

About an inning later she came back to the dugout with a sling.

For Shaw's next AB, the whole team ducked behind the dugout fence, while one assistant donned a catcher's mask and mitt.  Though very unfortunate and unlucky for Evans, it looks like the team had a little fun with it.

Good idea

I would be in for that.  Does anyone have a connection with someone at the UM Golf Course?

You didn't miss much

All he did was recite the book

I know how you feel

F.I.L and basically the rest of the I.L's - OSU grads/fans (one or two are YSU alums so they LOVE them some sewatervest)

At Rensselaer...

I had Bill Cosby as my commencement speaker, and my brother's class had Bill Nye the Science Guy.  Both were very good speakers, but Bill Nye was more entertaining.

Belichick may be considered a cheater... ...but he is the smartest coach in the league. He knows not to anger the Space Emperor.
They still do. I'm not sure if Spartan is a store or just a budget brand, but Busch's has a lot of their stuff right here in AA. Most of the stuff I've tried isn't half bad.
We said HI to him at the Pep Rally My buddy just happened to be wearing his #20 jersey, so Mike happily signed it. The hardest part was finding a pen. Apparently non of the wait staff carried Sharpies.
You'd think so... but in years past, there has been a lot of competition in AA between the televised UM Hockey games and the NCAA basketball tourney (whether M is playing or not). I agree that The Arena is very hockey-friendly.
It's nothing fnacy... but it is worth the take-out pizza price you pay for it - as opposed to the old stuff which wasn't worth the cardboard it was delivered in.
"Callahan was head coach of "Callahan was head coach of the 2002 raiders super bowl team" ...that was put together by Jon Gruden and taken to the playoffs the year before only to lose to the Tuck Rule
Don't blame him, blame the injury. I'm sure that's what you meant, though.
"Rich getting Richer" You nailed it. That's what the NCAA and especially college football and the bowl system is all about.
Probably the Freep's "source" The Freep may have heard that the reports weren't filed properly in July. So they just assumed that meant that RR was cheating the whole time.
He's the problem Michigan "fans" get a bad image of being arrogant when we win, and whiners when we lose. If he wants to be a super fan, he shouldn't be perpetuating this image. Another armchair QB/coach. I didn't hear any suggestions from him how it should have been done differently. Keep ringing your cowbell, and wearing your mask. Useless.
Carry on, indeed Carry on, indeed
I like the "Michigan Slam" It works in golf and tennis.
Maybe "We're All In" Make's it a little longer....
I agree Directing any sort of negative feelings towards Rosenberg will only encourage more of the same from him. We should follow RR's lead here, and take the high road - respond with facts, not anger. We should focus our energy on Western and supporting him and the Wolverines the best we can.
7s vs 15s I totally agree. I am a bigger fan of the full 15s (maybe because I am one of the fat slow guys). I think 7s is a good first step. It might be a little easier to watch for someone unfamiliar with the game, and easier to get more people around the world playing. Let's hope rugby makes it all the way, sees some success, and adds 15s to the Olympic mix.
It is EMU I drove by this morning, and it's the Eastern Eagles.
Done. Discussion over. This is a great idea.
Apparently no NCAA rule The University of New Haven just installed a blue turf field in 2008. They are a D2 team from Connecticut. Seems a little cheesy to me. http://www.newhaven.edu/news-events/24228.pdf
If you're looking for a new team The Pats and Colts have the most Wolverines with 4 each. And since I know how we Michigan fans feel about Peyton, let me be the first to welcome you to Patriot fandom.
Truth The Barwis knocked his own teeth out as an example of his own power.
