Ole Miss formally opposes Shea's transfer:
This appears to be old news:
"The NCAA received Ole Miss' response to Michigan's waiver request on March 28, the last day the school could respond"
Maybe I'm all wet here but if the 28th was Ole Miss' last day to respond then this should already be in the final stages. NCAA came back and asked Michigan to provide more information, which they did. I imagine they're in the final steps of reviewing everything and a final decision should be coming down the pipeline soon after.
Yeah, it seems to be old news. But Dodd is usually an asshat that writes a verbose diatribes against someone. He has written a lot against Michigan/Harbaugh. Yet, this 'story' is nothing more than a rehash of facts. Where is the diatribe against Ole Miss?
Dodd is crap. Always has been, always will be...
Yeah, that's pretty much him...
It's not my whole shtick. I've got others.
But it did start me thinking about something. If you read the comments in this or any of the other Patterson threads you'll see the same people saying the same things in each one. No real new revelations or insight. People who think Michigan soft-played the appeal needlessly still think that and people who are optimistic that this means nothing still believe that. They are repeating the same thoughts and observations they made earlier. And in virtually every case there are no board reprecussions or admonishments for the repeated thoughts.
But when i repeat "hey I told you guys this was going to happen" all hell breaks loose. NOBODY likes hearing it and I take all manner of shit for repeating it. Why is that? Why is reminding others you saw something unfolding before it happened (cause I've been around the block a few times perhaps) such an unpleasant and horrific act? Why dont the same people who tell me it gets old say the same thing when a poster repeats, almost word for word, their thoughts in this and every othter thread on the subject?
I would really like to know that. Cause it CLEARLY pisses off about 99% of the board when I do.
Try again. Actually read what i wrote and not what you assumed I wrote.

Can we send Sherman down to visit Ole Miss he loved the South
Umbig11 what are you hearing about the NCAA granting his eligibility? Is it still 50-50?
After a bad referring call, that the team runs a couple crossing routes and "meet at the umpire?"
I don't know what the equivalent would be for the NCAA, but lets do that.
I believe umbig11 was a little more pessimistic after OM originally filed their opposition, then when the NCAA asked us to file more material people's optimism ticked back up.
Did I forget to mention? I want the team that humiliated them in that bowl game to be from the Midwest. From any midwestern state shaped like a mitten. Any state like that will do, but the midwestern team does need to have extremely cool maize and blue helmets. With wings. Wings are a must.
Oh yeah, and I want the midwestern mitten team to play with a transfer QB. Any transfer QB with an Irish name will do.
Hope I’m not being picky or anything . . .
I'd actually be fine with them never winning another game.
The truth is, if Patterson is granted eligibility, I'll probably not give another thought to Ole Miss.
If his eligibility is delayed, I'll be salty for a long time. They'll be on my list.
Already happened. We played them in the Gator Bowl in 1991 and won 35-3. Absolutely destroyed them on New Years Day that year and I believe the entire OL was the MVP of that game for us.
It’s in the NCAA’s hands now, and given their track record for doing the right thing (or lack thereof) my bet is Patterson will be riding the bench next season.
He's guessing
This is Mineral Kings (Franklin Hatchett) 65th account so I don't think he's too conerned about Bolivia.
I can't wait until you reveal that you're married to the case manager and have been actually quite reputable this whole time.
That would be nice but I'm guessing most case managers don't have several accounts banned on mgoblog for acting like a racist asshole.
No but their husband's do
Shut up troll.
