OT What's your favorite candy?
So is it OT season yet? Yes? No? Maybe?
Either way, I'm having an absolutely fucked day at work because our IT department's incompetency is Dave Brandon as CEO level. I thought I would kill some time by starting a heated MgoBoard debate.
What is your favorite candy and why is it Peanut M&M's?
I've never understood why people love Swedish Fish. I always think I must be missing something because they are so popular, and then I try them again and find them to be a mostly flavorless, blander, and harder to chew version of the gummy bears/ sour patch kids type of candy.
I should clarify that I would only eat sour patch kids if I was looking for the sour taste. If you were to wash off the sugar on top, I would not enjoy them, hence why I do not like Swedish Fish.
I agree with Reese's but not in their traditional, circular form. For me, Reese's are best around the holidays when they sell the Reese's eggs, trees, hearts, etc. I think it has to do with the thickness of the bar itself and having more of a PB to choclate ratio
I'm with you on the trees eggs etc. Also, although the rigid edges of the cup don't bother me, I think the trees eggs etc. are better because they're smoother. Reese's has absolutely mastered the art of a chocolate peanut butter bar.
These are my candy weakness. The cups don't cut it.
Toblerone
That's a good one
Candy bars: classic Twix, Take 5 (criminally underrated)
Candy: Sour Patch Kids
Completely agree on the Take 5 take! Although one flaw is that I never feel completely happy with the amount you get in a package. Not filling, but certainly the tastiest of all candy.
Don't snicker at me. Twix all the way!
Peanut Butter M&Ms
Gooey with a bit of crunch.
There's a local candy shop that makes their own English toffee for sale during the Christmas season. It is really good.
How about a Heath bar...
that is thicker with extra rich milk chocolate on it. Really buttery tasting, too. That's the heavenly taste of the small batch stuff made by our local candy shop.
100 grand is my fav chocolate bar
Twix or Kit Kat in that order based on current availability and how long since the previous consumption.
Orange Slices and Reeses Peanut butter cups
Are we at the movies or no?
at the movies, mixing sweet tarts into the popcorn
Hats off to John Krasinski for directing/co-writing/starring in it
Then again, I'm not really a big fan of horror/sci-fi flicks.
Also, too man holes in the plot and story line.
gotta freeze crunch bars also
Wasn't Payday in the pool scene of Caddyshack?
Another Top 5 candy bar.
Payday looks nothing like a poop... unless it was really corny, perhaps
