The Hamilton play is the most subversive, most racist, and most hate-filled play to ever appear on Broadway.  Hamilton exists to purposely drive a wedge between people.  I AM NOT JOKING.

I was lucky enough to see 'Hamilton' in New York during its original run with the original cast for next to nothing (my brother knows Lin's father personally) and I truly can't imagine seeing it under any other circumstance...

6th row, too.

I certainly wouldn't call the musical overrated but the lengths that some are going to see what's comparable to what I witnessed on stage that night boogles my frickin' mind.

1) Why would this be political? They went to see a musical. I mean, I know about the stuff with the VP from last year, but I don't see how that relates at all.    

2) Why do we care that they went to see a musical? I mean, good for them I guess. I'm glad the MSU athletic department supports the arts and all. But I mean, our whole football team went to Italy. I don't see what the significance of the MSU basketball team going to a musical is, even a really popular, expensive one.
