How is Maryland a Q1 win?

We’re starting to play like a team that knows they have a 23 point lead. Gotta stay focused and build on this lead.

I've been one to push for a Poole/MAAR/Matthews/mo/livers or DRob lineup all year. However, I'll be honest, they look a bit lost when MAAR plays the point. Takes long to get in sets, just isn't smooth.

we're up 30 at the half, I really don't think you should start eating clock before the 5, maybe 6, minute mark. Well probably still win comfortably, but it'd be nice to just throttle these guys, THEN relax for the final 5 minutes after emptying the bench. And not get someone like Wagner hurt right before the tournament!

Good to see. Now after a few times down the court, I'd like to see him resting on the bench the rest of the way.

What about Stauskas? Is he just a shooter, or is he more than just a shooter?

MAAR has been really aggressive. Maybe with those glasses he sees all his scoring opportunities.

There's a reason Matthews was a Kentucky one-and-done type recruit.

 

So is MAAR this year's Walton?

Nice open 3 hit when they were making a run, and drive to basket. Needs that mojo for confidence. Also, Maryland playing better/tougher 2nd half. Give them some props.

Unfortunately (for us), most of our best players under Beilein have gone pro before we could see how great they'd be as seniors. 

Walton and now MAAR have given us that chance - it sure is fun to see!
