B1G! B1G! B1G!

Looking like 7-0 heading into the Michigan game tomorrow.

Bama and Georgia better win or the Playoff committee is going to have egg all over their face. Good news is it might finally force a 6 or 8 team playoff.

Will be interestering to see how ESPN tries to spin it.

People saying this like it's some sort of "pump the breaks" situation on the B1G are missing the point. A conference going undefeated because they got knocked down a peg by being left out of the cfp shows that they probably shouldn't have been knocked down a peg.

Either the B1G makes the playoffs and you have a more even matchups - or - the b1g goes undefeated because they were underranked.

Bring on South Carolina. B1G gonna be 8-0. No respect from playoff committee. B1G champ denied 2 years in a row (although I was SO HAPPY those bastards & their obnoxious fans from Columbus didn’t get in).

We would be only BTN team to do so. It would be humiliating and unforgetable.

Nearly in App. State proportions. I hope we blow them out.

I was hoping Wisconsin would lose last night, to eliminate that possibility.

I wonder if any conference has ever gone 8-0 in bowls before.

We aren't going to die, but don't underestimate the sheer volume of both retail and professional investors who have been ignoring (or more accurately monitoring, but refusing to sell based on) geopolitical risks and market fundamentals because they believe selling at or after January 2nd will have tax benefits, which it will for most. The risk is that this volume of pent up "profit taking" will be significantly higher than the pool of money waiting on the sides for any downturn. It could get interesting over the next month.

However the good thing about being a financial advisor is you just shrug because its not your money, and you can tell people these black swans happen, and being diversified (in the same things as everyone else) is what's really important, because who knew tax changes would have market implications.

where our league has gained enough respect that we can get a 2nd team in as the 4 seed. That is a positive for us obviously because it could leave us a backdoor into the playoff in case we don't win the division but are still 11-1

Possibly the most positive outcome of the B1G winning all of its game so far is that it's gone a long way to make the Pac12 break the record for worst bowl season by a power 5 conference ever.

The previous record was held by a different power five conference in 2008, and ESPN had no troubles regurgitating that select piece of trivia. Well, now they can choke on it.

Never got the conference pride thing. Maybe this comes from listening to SEC fans latch on to Alabama’s successes. I want my teams to win and other teams fall into the don’t care either way category regardless of conference.

I enjoy watching good football.

I enjoy seeing UofM playing quailty football against a quality team.

I like Uof M playing ND every year instead of teams like Delaware State, Hawaii, UNLV, Akron, Massachusetts, Eastern Michigan, or Connecticut.

I'm glad MSU, OSU, and PSU are in our division.  I look forward to those games and all of the hoopla that goes on before & after each of those games. .

I would rather see us go 9-3 or 10-2 playing against multiple top 20 teams than 11-1 or 12-0 against weak competition.

Winning a national championship would be nice but winning the Big 10 East and the Big 10 Championship Game on a regular basis is much more meaningul and enjoyable to me.

I would bet that a majority of the UofM players feel the same.

till they are blue in then face but the CFP Committee got it WRONG...Dead Wrong...With the Help of ESPN and all their SEC Homer annonucers who push the SEC incessantly, they push this Narrative about how the SEC is the best ever and always will be no matter what..This PROVES that the SEC ISNT that great..They have a team that didnt win its Div or League  in the playoff AGAIN!..while the BIG champ,  of OBVIOUSLY the best league now,  is out..This system is BAD

Guys guys guys! We may have our differences, but I think we can all agree on one point: At least we aren’t those pathetic, obsessed losers that occupy the RCMB! Seriously, you just want to say to them, “Hey. I know you’re salty about not getting into Michigan 20 years ago, but you need to move on! You shouldn’t spend so much time pulling your peter over every word posted on boards for superior schools! Come on, you went to what is arguably one of the top ten schools in the whole state of Michigan! Your life needn’t be so pathetic!”

I'm in favor of anything that makes the playoff look bad and moves us closer to getting an 8-team playoff that actually inclues all P5 champions.  Having the Big Ten dominate Bowl Season and yet be shut out of the playoffs makes the playoffs look like the joke that they are, IMO.  Yeah, OSU got blown out by Iowa.  Doesn't really matter.  They won the Big Ten.  They should be in a playoff.  An 8-team playoff that includes all P5 champs.
