This Mlive photo of the "brawl" shows a guy in the middle of the photo facing the camera with Kareem's face, dreads, facial hair and expression. It's a little out of focus and has motion blur as well, but if that's not Kareem he has a twin.
The players went home for xmas for 3 days and were supposed to fly from their homes to Florida individually I guess, and I spoke to Kareem 2 days before he was to go home and he was certainly planning to go down to Florida.
Edit: Not sure why the blog reduced the size of the photo, the original from the article was bigger and easier to see his face in.

Has anybody heard anything regarding Higdon's future with football? I heard a rumor he is considering graduating and not playing football next year. Hopefully, this isn't true/he decides to come back, but obviously he needs to do what's best for himself!

He's going to hit 1000 yards this year. He's going to get drafted next year. He has a daughter to provide for. He's not leaving football. You should feel bad for giving any thought to this rumor.

I should have been clearer.
One of my friends interviewed him for a full-time position at his company. He was offered the job and Karan was apparently very excited. From my conversations with my friend, it sounded like he was trying to keep his options open. I (jokingly) told my friend his company should make it an internship offer with a full-time position to come after next fall.
I apologize for my original post. My itent was to see if others with more insider knowledge had heard this was a consideration.

Who is that in the photo then big11? Click the link to the bigger photo. I think he was there and then had to go home, although I'm not 100% sure he made it to FLA, I thought so since that was the plan and I won't believe that's not him in the photo until he tells me so or someone knows for sure who else that is. So maybe he didn't make it down somehow and had to go home from Ann Arbor not from Florida.
He's not in A2 now though.
