Patterson v. Peters v. McCaffrey v. Milton is tentatively scheduled for April 14th.

Was looking around the MMB website and found it on their calendar.

Blue leads the all-time series 39-27-2, despite dropping the last two years contests to the Maize team.

I don't want to wish away a bowl game, even if it is the actual picture of middle Floridian mediocrity, but w0000000000000t for Peters v. Patterson. Off the top of my head, the only other spring head to heads that compare:

1. '99 Brady v. Henson. The gold standard.

2. '92 Grbac v. Collins. We've had some good ones, no? Twenty-what NFL seasons between those two?

3. '89 Brown v. Taylor. A Michigan Quarterback Controversy, that pushed the Team to consecutive Rose Bowls.

4. '04 Gutierrez v. Henne. After Gutierrez got injured in pregame warmups to start the '04 seasons, thus ended Michigan Quarterback Controversies. Folks up here still talk about Gutierrez.

5. '09 Robinson v. Forcier. In retrospect, no Controversy, but there was a lot of excitement in landing two the top dual threat QBs with Rich Rodriguez's offense.

I think Peters v. Patterson on paper right now rates at  No. 5. Thoughts?

I know he is very unlikely to start, I know I should temper my expectations, I know he is super raw and may be awhile before he's ready if he's ever ready at all..but I sure can't wait to see how Milton looks at that Spring Game

We have a basketball team that deserves our attention. Let’s think about this later and go out and sell out every remaining home game. GO TO THE GAMES PEOPLE. Sorry I’m ranting GO BLUE!

Spring Game memories at the big house...

*Loving Tom Brady's deep throws.

*Thinking Mister Simpson would be the next great Michigan running back.

*Hayden Epstein kicking a 60 yard field goal.

*Braylon wearing the hot pink shirt and interacting with the fans in the stands.

*All the fans sitting around me groaning every time John Navarre ran out on the field to run the offense.  Poor Navarre.

*The stadium crew never turning the scoreboards on so they would wheel that little portable one on the field.  Half the time, it didn't even work.

*Waiting to hear score updates over the speakers of the Red Wings game, usually playing the first round of the playoffs.

*Going on the field afterwards and being allowed to interact with the players and get autographs.  I think this stopped around 2005ish?

*Thinking the "game" was becoming boring as sin towards the end of the Carr years because it stopped being a game and was just various drills.

*The alumni flag football game being waaaay more interesting than the actual spring game during the RichRod years.

You haven't even named the officiating crew. Sheesh. We have higher standards for launching threads here and you need to step it up. But I'll do the obligatory thing and thank you anyway.

Even more amazing when you consider some of the recent spring games weren't even actual games.

I have the hardest time getting excited about the countdown that starts after Spring Game through the summer to Fall Fooball. It's more bitter sweet, right. On one hand UM Football, but on the other hand, winter is getting closer evetyday. A count down from the original signing day in Feb. till Spring Football. Now thats a count down I will stand behind and enjoy everyday we get closer.
