That's what happens when you lay off all of your good talent and all that's left are the loudmouthed blowhards who define news as inviting LaVar Ball onto the set and getting into pissing matches with him.

Used to love ESPN. Loved getting up early every morning and watching the highlights before work. Especially Top 10 and Not Top 10. Now aside from the actual games themselves, there is nothing even remotely appealing about ESPN anymore.

Stuff like this highlights just how generic ESPN content has become and how little their on air "analysts" actually know about what they're talking about. If he knew as much as he's leading on about that running back, he would know who the actual opponent is...

After seeing what happened to their rival, Mississippi State wants no part of Michigan.

If we play them, half their players will defect to Michigan before the team bus even leaves the stadium.

What this says to me is that after two sizeable rounds of staffing reductions, someone mistakenly let go of a few too many fact checkers and story editors. I can only imagine how many errors will eventually slip into ESPN programming that are this glaring, never mind the more notable ones we've seen already lately.

How do you make such a mistake? How do you have so many people not know the correct teams that are playing and stop the mistake before you air it? We live in a age where facts no longer matter.

Seems like the guy doing the commentary/voiceover would know better even if the production person didn't.  Is that Booger McFarland? Can't tell who because I only watch ESPN for games. Dude went to LSU so if so kinda pathetic.

Listening to Tebow on that special was the WORST!  I'll take Matt Millen and Pam Ward for the rest of my life over that toxic shitstorm!!!

"JK Dobbins gave them problems.."  Dude had 60 yards on 13 carries until their garbage time drive.  So they preview the wrong damn team and their analysis consists of a quick glance at the box score.  Dynamite job.

It's interesting because they got the graphic overlay right (UM v SC), but then got the highlights wrong and the analysis wrong.

Highlights/overlay I can forgive. Screwing up the analysis is awful because it suggests you're just mailing it in...

ESPN is so bad...SC6 is so bad.  I just want a normal sportscenter with highlights back.  SC6 is unwwatchable, the anchors need to go and whoever kept them on the air needs to go.  Awful.
