Help Long Time Board Member, FritoBandito, Negotiate a 5.0 Mustang Purchase

Submitted by HelloHeisman91 on

Frito tweeted that he was thinking of selling his truck to buy a new Mustang and the official Mustang twitter account responded to him.  Thought we could have some fun and maybe help a board memeber purchase a discounted muscle car with some retweets.

1) Get hired into Ford's marketing department, 2) Make a presentation and get budget approval, 3) respond to Frito Bandito from @FordMustang, 4) contract with Ukranians to get him enough RTs, 5) get fired by Ford.

If you are a member of the alumni club, you can X plan a Mustang.  As to the harsh comments about Mustangs above, I have 2 of them, a 2007 Shelby GT500 convertible and a 2013 Boss 302.  Both are great trouble free cars that have held their value pretty well.  I could sell the Boss for just about what I paid for it (got a great deal) and the Shelby has been pretty much holding steady for the past 7 or 8 years and is now, supposedly, starting to even appreciate a little (since I bought it new for well over sticker, I would still take a beating on it but it's been a blast for 11 years).  Great cars that make me smile whenever I get in them or even look at them.

Mustangs consistently rank at the bottom of best sport car purchases. American OEMs are trash in general when it comes to overall quality; but if you want to buy American muscle, get the 6.2L camaro.

2017 Ford Mustang Ecoboost i took as a demo for a couple days this summer. It comes with a turbocharged 4 cylinder 2.3L, which produces 310 horsepower, and 320 lb/foot of tourque.

it was a surprisingly fast and fun car to drive. Not to mention the 30 mpg on the highway.
