Franklin is probably not a great coach — I was at the “game” in the big house where he got out coached (or he out-bad-decisioned) Hoke; hard to shake having seen that — but rather happens to have a once in lifetime talent at RB and enough of a QB & WR to torch you if you commit all-out to stop SB.

was hoping OSU would be crushed and demoralized by this game

Northwestern scores, 10-7 State. Go 'Cats.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:41 PM ^
still gonna be a solid 8-4 to 9-3 type team next year, but without barkley, moorhead, gesicki, hamilton, cabinda ect we will beat these guys at home
October 28th, 2017 at 4:41 PM ^
When was the last time we rolled up in the Shoe and just dominated a good or better OSU team?
The one that pops in my mind is '95 with Timmy B and his 313 yards.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:44 PM ^
game was in a2
October 28th, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
That was here. We're in Columbus in even years. 2000 was the last win there, '94 the last time we whooped them, i think.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:51 PM ^
They won in '94. The last time we whipped them in Columbus was 1980.
October 28th, 2017 at 5:08 PM ^
Holy crap, I'd only been alive a couple years.
Thanks to all who helped jog my foggy memory.
October 28th, 2017 at 5:01 PM ^
The whooping in '94 went the other direction.
The last true road beatdown of OSU was '76. Maybe '78 if your definition of whooping is different from mine.

just blocked a punt and returned for a TD. 16-13 Indiana pending extra point

October 28th, 2017 at 4:44 PM ^
Damn, OSU. Long non-Barkley return.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
By a...linebacker? Dafuq?
October 28th, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
Why did McSorley not run that?

October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
That is a game-changing horrendous call.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
A buckeye called for PI! What kind of sick world is this?
October 28th, 2017 at 4:50 PM ^
Next thing you know, they will get called for offensive holding.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
That's an awful call.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
got bailed out there
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
wait, no bad call. wow
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
BS. If that's PI, then you should arm punt every single play.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
That was a terrible PI call...
October 28th, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
Didn't see a p.i. there.

if you call that PI. What is a defense supposed to do?
October 28th, 2017 at 4:49 PM ^
October 28th, 2017 at 4:49 PM ^
Ohio State is having a worse 1st half against Penn State than we did.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:49 PM ^
how does OSU not get that call at home...with a potential playoff spot on the line. I'm thinking that maybe refs are just idiots and not against us.

See, the program has healed, the rest is in the past.
October 28th, 2017 at 5:09 PM ^
Also, helping PSU to an impressive win makes it more likely Barkley wins the Heisman for the B1G.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:51 PM ^
October 28th, 2017 at 4:59 PM ^
then michigan's defense should be flagged on every passing play

October 28th, 2017 at 5:01 PM ^
I guess the obvious answer is that nobody knows what is what. He did have his hands on him, but that happens every play.
October 28th, 2017 at 4:49 PM ^
Who/what did James Franklin sacrafice to the gods to able to walk into Colmbus and man handle OSU a year after magically beating them?
October 28th, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
Are you kidding?
They're owed this. It's all a part of their healing process.
