Just thinking about the game tomorrow after a Friday morning bang...

I took my son this year and he did pretty well.  It was his first time in the stadium and he wasn't interested in the action on the field, but at least he had some room to move around and didn't behave like a total psychopath.

I told him I'll take him to a real game as soon as he can make it through a whole game watching with me at home.

So probably never.

It's down to AA tomorrow morning for the game.  May the Wolverines strafe Air Force.  Some bombing from Speight to DPJ, Black and Crawford in the battle plan, too.  After many successful sorties, the reserve units will take the field for training exercises.

But I won't be at the game.  I was at the last Air Force game for the discovery of Devin Funches.  It's the only time I ever heard the big house crowd cheer the opponent when they got saluted during pregame, which seemed appropriate.

As if I wasn't pumped up for the game already, yesterday about 2:45pm 3 fighter jets screamed by in a triangle formation overhead my house in Novi. My guess is headed to Selfridge to stage for our flyover tomorrow, it was sweet!

Spotify, play the Bob Ufer recordings for your son on the car ride up.  He is at that impressionable age when he must understand right (U-M) from wrong (ND, MSU, OSU), and he is not going to get that from a Virginia school.  He needs his Dad to help set him straight. Godspeed...

Those recordings are fabulous.

Ufer has a couple of big tail gates at AAGO eah year and those tapes are blasted on huge speakers,  If that doesn't get you fired up then.............well.......what can you say?

Ufer sold to Kapnick a couple of years ago, but the kids (now in there 60's) are still around and great folks.

Some of my peers (Air Force Academy graduates) will be at the game. Most Academy grads adopt a school as their favorite team so please do everything you can to show them a great time and convert them!

Heading to the game tomorrow in my Air Force gear, but will be surrounded by my Michigan buddies, so if you see the one weird dude in royal blue and silver surrounded by maize and blue that'll be me.  It's going to be weird wearing another teams colors in Michigan stadium, but undergrad over grad, thems the rules.  Go Air Force!

Prefer Air Force.......family jet pilot in WW2 and Korean War.  Son-in-law also Air Force during Gulf War.  It would be nice for an Air Force veteran and other guest.

50-yard line, row 60...........facing the tunnel....great for watching band and team entering the Big House.

Game starts at noon.

Please respond if interested.  I will respond in an hour or so........gotta get the morning run in to start today.

Go Blue!

I am just glad I made it to Friday - it has been pretty crazy at work as well as at home recently, especially with the transition to having one in middle school and one still in elementary school for the time being and the two-school logistics. That, and all the activities. At least there's usually an open WiFi connection somewhere, which means access to the blog during down moments.

Tomorrow is such a cool game. Get to watch Michigan and at the same time support the troops. It will be cool to see the servicemen at the game and I am sure we will have amble time to give them a nice round of thanks.

Driving up from Toledo, we can normally time it to where we are located in this area every game. Come on by and take a Jagerbomb! Look for the white 86 Manningham jersey and a guy in a navy blue bucket hat..... Go Blue and God Bless America!

I have no other weekends off due to my offices staff shortage. I was planning on being at the game but will have to follow on my smart phone at work. Go Blue!
