to give a warm welcome to the Air Force Falcons, you had better believe I will. Thank you to each and every one of those players.

As far as the game goes, however, I hope there are many, many cheerleader backflips being performed.  Go Blue!!!

Before the game.  My Grandfather was a Lt. Col in the Air Force, flew in WW2, did the Berlin Airlift, career Air Force pilot.

My Father (the son of my Grandfather), spent 50 years as an Aerospace Engineer working as Sr. Reliablility Engineer (last 35 years on flight control systems) only because he was denied entry into AF (Bad ankles).

So yeah, Air Force has and will always hold a special place for me......

But once the game starts, I expect (and want) JH and Michigan to pound them into submission........ 56-0.......

Loading up the truck and hitting the road from beautiful Evansville Indiana in 30 minutes.

Tigers and Shake Shack in Detroit tonight, M/Air Force and a stop by the M Den tomorrow

Back to Indy for my high school's (Evansville Central) prime time game at Lucas Oil in Indy

And then the Colts laying down for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

I do one super-sports weekend a year, and it is finally here!

I did one of those weekends when I was single and 26.  I think it was Thanksgiving weekend of 2001.  It included MHSAA football finals, Michigan/OSU game, hockey game, and Lions game.  Looking back at it now, I wonder how I pulled off that feat.  I think I remember going back to work on Monday exhausted from the weekend.

Taking my 8 year old daughter tomorrow. Hoping to keep her interested for at least 3 quarters. Last year she did pretty well. Although she thinks it's time to leave at halftime.
