Name a Buckeye quarterbackl ever that could pass? And then proved it in the NFL? There isn't one. The idea that this program is spawning qbs who can actually stretch the field with their arm and legs at the same time under any coaching regime in Columbus is beyond the pale.

...by Weighted Career Approximate Value (and this is for the entire history of the NFL)

  1. Mike Tomczak
  2. Kent Graham
  3. Tom Tupa
  4. Terrelle Pryor
  5. Troy Smith

I tried to take out the contributions from positions other than QB, but I gave Tupa full credit for the season he double-shifted as P/QB. ('89 when he started at QB, I mean--he gets zip for throwing 11 passes for the Jets later in his career.)

...would be next on the list.

For some perspective, Michigan has had four quarterbacks better than anyone here and Chad Henne would be behind only Tomczak. USC has also had 4 better than OSU's best, and five others that would be #2 here. Purdue has six better than Tomczak and two others that just miss.

Even schools notorious for bad quarterbacking have better lists than this. LSU had  Bert Jones and Yelberton Abraham Tittle. A&M had Ryan Tannehill. Florida's worse--that's the only big-name school I can think of that is. Anybody got any suggestions? Minnesota doesn't count.

Ed.: Forgot about Nebraska: Ferragamo, Tagge, Bruce Mathison. That's bad.

No fuck that. I want Michigan to beat them. I'm tired of teams NOT NAMED Michigan beating those bastards for the past 15 years.

I never thought something like what Mayfield just did would piss me off so much. Don't plant shit on our field. Especially not on the "O". You RESPECT the "O".

Please tell me this guy practiced this speech on a gastroenterologist first..."YOU RESPECT THE 'O'!"

Could the great gray tide finally recede on the Eastern Front?

Could spread to run, mercifully, be played out?

Could offensive holding and running back BS no longer suffice to carry FOSU to ill-deserved victory?

Could a reign of mediocrity descend on a city named for genocidal slaver Columbus and its vaults stuffed with blood money?

and while generally speaking, I'm fine with that, it would have been nice to see some golden domers complaining about 40,000 Georgia fans taking over their precious little stadium.

1) The second tweet, "Just a reminder @OSUCoachMeyer you lost and you suck and are a terrible excuse for a human being" is from a Michigan fan!!

How do I know this? Because I clicked on his name (Mock Wahlberg) and saw the huge banner of Jabril Peppers in the maize and blue.

How is this schadenfreude?

2) The second list of screens shots is from "Angus Money" who a) hasn't posted more than three times this year and b) again, is a MICHIGAN FAN! His banner pick is the Michigan train formation!

Going into someone's "Twitter mentions" is not schadenfruede from a team's own fan base -- it's just collecting Twitter bile, which is beyond worthless.

TWIS has not only gone downhill, it is in a flaming garbage dump at the botoom of that hill.
