The defense came to play. Impressive and only fitting that they get a TD. What concerns me is the inability to deliver the knockout punch. This game could and should be a blowout of big proportion.

Reading the comments you'd think we haven't completely dominated this game. The mistakes will be cleaned up (we are obviously young). If anything, I can say that I am pleasantly surprised by Speights emotion. He always had a calm demeanor about him which I didn't necessarily like. Someone who is passionate usually cares a lot and will do whatever it takes to correct the mistakes. Our OL (although a small sample size) looks much better other than a few Ulizio gaffes. DPJ looks good on PR, Tarik Black has already scored his first TD. And big Mo should be nicknamed Mo Burst since he pushed the center back twice into Franks. It would have been nice to put up 70 on a cupcake for some open season confidence, but I'll take this every time!

are excellent.  Wish Keith W. was still with us for depth, but this was the Defense's day, overcoming 2 pick 6's and holding Florida to 3 points and very little yardage.

M defense was phenomenal (even though Florida is a not good on offense)

M offesne showed some good things, but still has a long way to go.  Not scoring TD or even FGs on several drives was bad.

and on scoreboard after giving up 2 pick 6's.  Remember ?  In NFL if you give up one pick 6 you lose 80% of the time.  Michigan's decisive win over this top tier SEC team, leaving TD's on the field in both halfs basically shutting out Florida is what I will remember from this game.  They won by 17 giving up 2 pick 6's.  Remember what you want troll.

To be fair this should've been about 41 or 49 to 3 with the weirdness removed but the offense does have some concerns. Hopefully Florida's defense turns out to be elite this year

If that's the kind of defense we're getting, we just need "not catastrophically fucking up" from the other side of the ball.  I'd like to see it against an offense with a pulse.

On the other hand, we gained a ton of yards against what should end up a really good defense.  Need to figure out the red zone and remove the catastrophic fuck ups.
