New Football Jerseys
I haven't seen anyone post this, so here is a link to an article about Michigan allowing adidas to create a unique "Climacool" jersey.
“Working in collaboration with Michigan on the design of the new uniforms allowed us to create one of the most unique jerseys in college football today.”

Thoughts?
we need every advantage to put our program back on top.
So bring it on.
Are they maize?
Glad to see that adidas is matching Nike.
The link is busted. But yes, that would be cool.
1. Articles that begin with "A sports jersey is a sort of uniform worn by players of a particular team." are more likely written for my girlfriend than for superfans.
2. The idea sounds not just cool, but climacool.
2a. As long as they aren't maize...
We Have used the same exact jerseys the past two seasons. I think we need some type of tweaking to the away jersey, anything just to change things up a bit. I get pretty superstitious about my game day shirt, I'd like something, a throw back 80's looking away jersey would be nice. Maize and blue stripes on the arms.
maize during the night game
should be crazy
I can't believe there are actually people in favor of this hypothetical.....
i did not pick up any sarcasm with this claim, is this really true? was this made official and I missed it? sorry if i'm off here, but i may have stinky'ed in my pants and i want to know if it was worth it. thanks!
It was sarcasm.
Nice name btw.
you get a +1, my friend.
Was this article written by a middle school student?
So what if it was? Pretty good, not great, for a middle school student I'd say.
Just as long as they don't bunch up and look like shit like the Nike ones did last year that were supposedly state-of-the-art.
So..unless they made another one, this is the same Jersey they have been wearing for two seasons..
Yeah I think this is talking about the jerseys from two years ago.
Atleast that quote is...

If you really want to get to the link, delete the first part in the window--mgoblog/mgoboard, etc. That said, it's a link to a website called "garagefriends," probably not the best news.
This article isn't about new football jerseys. It's an article about the already existing jerseys and how they have changed. They just so happen to be 2 years late on this story.
Also don't you think a much more credible source would have come out with something if we (UofM) were changing uniform designs?
I dont understand why we don't have maize jerseys, personally i think they would be our best jerseys
Hell no. Absolutely not.
idea is evil and wrong. Wash your mouth out with soap.
we can wear them when we install maize-colored fieldturf, right ....
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
That would be cool, broski.
This is the mentality that got us the RAWK.
No, thank you.
Is it the Climacool part of the jersey that has been ripping on Michigan's jerseys the last two years? I know that Brandon Graham is awesome and a jersey cannot contain him but he always had holes in his jersey. He wasn't the only one. Thanks Adidas, for making Michigan cutting edge jerseys that constantly get holes ripped in them.
As reported above, Nike's jerseys had horrible problems with bunching last year. You can give a kid a new jersey if he rips one (trust me, they've got lots) but you can't give a kid a new jersey if it bunches and becomes uncomfortable.
Jfox = boom! roasted!
and he crushes his wife during sex!
Better to put the ballcarrier into a hole in the ground while sporting a hole in your jersey than to still have a lineman have a hold of your jersey. Leave him grasping air and a tiny souvenir!
I miss Nike.
The company or the feeling?
(how many people will actually get this?)
I wonder what Michigan Jerseys would look like if we were sponsored by UnderArmour..
NO WAY IN HELL...I love our colors maize and blue but seriously, maize pants and a maize jersey with a blue helmet with maize wings already on it? Good god man this isn't Oregon or West Virgina for god sake!
I don't think it's too much too ask of Adidas to make uniforms that don't rip so easily, while at the same time don't have bunching numbers or some other major quality control issue. I think that uniforms that tear at the seams or in the climacool fabric look sloppy regardless of straight tackle-twill numbers. It's ridiculously short sighted to think it HAS to be one or the other flaw.
EDIT: I also believe that Reebok uniforms had more of a bunching issue than Nike did.
already cool.

for one week though. We have different uniforms for each week, plus we can mix and match.

Matches the new helmets:
We need to work earth, wind and water into the mix.
And as the Block M has been tarnished, our new midfield logo:

I'm pretty certain that "garagefriends" is just a cut and past news item blog that is intended to garner hits based on search terms and then link to sales websites.
In other words, it's just a marketing scheme.
Is that really a blog dedicated to Indiana Pacer jerseys?
