Extremely poor decision by the staff here to do this before finding a way to fix the horrible app.

You would think that we are paying for MGoBlog. I like the content and the price... C'mon man!

Well, a lot of the people complaining are saying they will fund upgrades to both the site AND the app, so.....they have a right to complain a bit, no?

I can't stand the 'official' app. For those of you with an iOS device and are jailbroken, download an AdBlocker from cydia. It will remove the ads from the app as well.

The app doesn't work. It crashes about 70% of the time on load. On the rare occasions when it does load it either freezes or crashes on the second or third article. I don't try to post with the app but evidently, that's just as bad. I'd call it malware but that's not fair. Malware works.

Wish Brian would consider selling the site if he isn't going to even let the membership fund the necessary enhancements to the site/app.

This really sucks. Although I appreciate the efforts of the other app especially since they were the first, the HD app was far superior to use and navigate, even when compared to the site. I am disappointed that the Mgo team was not able to come to an agreement with the owner especially since they were not even trying to monetize it. UX/UI is a huge favtor for users and even if the website has ignored it a bit (and I care less online) the fact that viewing the site on mobile will now be such a less pleasant experience is a sad decision for this entire community.

Brian will actually show up to the after signing party? Or will he avoid that too?

Ugh. It is so awful. And the Hoke Springs Eternal.
Not to mention lack of ability to use the notifications area on i-devices.
Please make it go away.

The HD app was the bee's knees, easy to navigate, easy to F5, and therefore, must go.
Poor decision. See you down the road.

The HTTV Kickstarter got 79k out of its 30k goal in 2016. In 2015 it got some 52k out of 30k. In 2014 it got 37k out of 30k.
7k surplus->22k surplus->49k surplus.
1562->2082->2984 backers.
I'm not sure how that the excess was put to use, and that's besides the point: Brian doesn't have a shortage of fervent fans/visitors/consumers when a CONCRETE goal has been established, and in fact their number and generosity have been growing at impressive rates.
I'd wager that if moneys were raised SPECIFICALLY for perfecting an app and for a website overhaul, we'd beat that 163% surplus that was shown in the last round for HTTV.

I tried to be a good little sheep. I deleted the HD app and downloaded the North Korea sanctioned app; however, I can't even post. I had to log onto my computer to post this.
Look, let's be real here, the app is hot turds. I've only been using it for 5 minutes and I'm already crying out in agony at how much worse my 30 minute poops at work are going to be.
Fix it...please.

You can bury your head in the sand and complain that people are "stealing" your IP but what you should really do is find a better way to sell it to them. This is a "let's shut down Napster" move which made the music industry no money. You want money, make it easier to people to get to your IP and pay you for it (HINT: CHARGE FOR THE APP). Otherwise you're just running around telling people "hey, you can't use Kazaa either!" Good luck with that.
