Wow, how far we have fallen. Half way through the first half and no open thread. There should be a drinking game called "drink when Walton misses a 3." People would get WASTED. 11-9 Penn State, 12 minutes to go 1st half.

State. At home. In basketball. Penn State, with freshmen starters. Needing a furious comeback to pull it out. This game looked very much like a battle between evenly matched teams. I am perilously close to agreeing with Phil from Atlanta.

That I can't answer. We used to have guys who were plugged in immediately as freshmen, McGary, Burke, GRIII, Stauskas, etc. Maybe Beilein wanted to lean more on his upperclassmen since he's finally had a stretch of players who didn't leave early. Whatever the case is, it's not working
