With DPJ making his big announcement tonight at 8:30pm on ESPN2, I'm going to pre-emptively assume there will be some DPJ buzz & discussion before then.  This thread is to create a home for all of that prior to the announcement.  I assume closer to the announcement, somebody will create a thread specifically for the announcement itself, hopefully with a "Hello" thread to quickly follow..

I'll get the ball rolling--Lorenz tweets out this morning that they are still confident DPJ is still Blue.

So glad we have this catch all thread...to catch all the comments. 

Started at noon today and will likely be bumped of the first page after DPJ commits.

I'm setting the over/under at 5.5 "DPJ to Michigan" threads when he announces...and 3.5 "MOMS DELETE" or "DELETE ME" threads 90 seconds later.

Shit. He has the Michigan helmet in the center of the line-up. You'd think if he wanted to pull the surprise he'd pick a helmet not in the center.

What some might have looked on with 'quit ruining the/this kid's moment'.  Seemed to me to be genuine excitement and unrehearsed joy!  Nice to have heard that the football choice was tough (helps me believe that M is definitely in the minds of the top elite's of the country!  In the end M's academic difference was the key.  

Also nice to see 'Hold me Tom VH' talking about his Michigan Wolverines picking up a HUGE committment!
