It's not that hard to do with a screwdriver and a hammer. Just hit it into one of the eyes.

I'm sure there was some kind of weapon of mass destruction involved. I had a battle with a coconut one time as a kid. There wan't much left over when I finished with it.

Rivals and many others love to pick on his quirky ways, but I truly believe what you see is what you get with Harbaugh.
He seems to prove that he is very real...bizarre (maybe), but genuine.

think some of it is to screw with people, and to detract from them. He completely stole the press conference from Fisher, and the game is played in Fisher's stomping ground. He does little things to change the dynamics of a situation. Harbaugh had clearly studied FSU and knew more about their tradition than Fisher did. Don't think that players from both teams (and recruits) don't see that as well.
He marches to the beat of a different drum, no question, but not all this stuff is "just his personality." He is working with an agenda on some level, IMO.

ALWAYS go Full Harbaugh.

Jim knows a lot of the specifics about FSU traditions. Even if he only boned up just before, it still shows how much of a fan of his sport he is. Guessing Jimbo knows fuck all about Michigan.

Everyone says he's crazy. I disagree. There is almost always a logic behind what he says/does.
He's just different.

Love how he asks for the war horse and spear for the bowl game....
Nothing to do with our school. He just loves the traditions of college football!

That is what I mean regarding him having an agenda. It is likely that Fisher left this press conference very confused, and my guess is that was Harbaugh's intent. I think that is why a lot of people don't like him. They can tell he is working them, they are just not always sure how.

The energy for this team starts with him and he looks like he has put last week behind him and is ready to roll. He's pissed still like we all are, but he is doing a great job of moving on with enthusiasm for this game. It really is one of the best games of the 41 bowl games.

Sounds like Harbaugh met Santa Claus before the press conference, as he was way ahead of Jimbo. Love him as well as the recruits do. Go Blue !

Coach reminds me of the Joker as played by the late Heath Ledger. I'm reminded of when a Columbus Dispatch reporter asked him what he thinks of what opposing fanbases think of him and mentioned that they think he is crazy. Harbaugh seemed to take offense at the notion that he might be thought of as crazy. He is bringing his own anarchy of competition by doing anything he can to win within the rules. God help our opponents once the machine really gets humming.

My favorite was Harbaugh's line about how FSU has the best defense we'll face this year, then he went back and qualified it to "Well, maybe second best." Then he did the same thing when somebody asked him about their running back, where he had to say that he thought Sequon Barkley was better. I don't think it's mind games - Harbaugh's default is to just answer a question honestly.
They did their job, though - I'm looking forward to the game.
