Was the offense injured?

so can we retroactively excuse the Iowa and OSU loses because out LT & a starting CB were out? And OSU especially because our QB was still injured?
You don't lose by 40 just because of few injuries

PSU jumps Michigan.
People who argue for this (Herbie, etc.) need their heads examined.
1. 49-10.
2. PSU win today not particularly impressive. Let Wisconsin score lots of points. Michigan offense >>> than Wisconsin offense. PSU scored a lot, but Wisconsin secondary is the weak link in their D.
3. Michigan's losses were to OSU and Iowa in the last play of each game. PSU was crushed by Michigan 49-10 and lost to Pitt.
4. None of Michigan's 10 wins were in dounbt in the 4th. PSU was losing to IU in the 4th, barely beat Temple, etc.

It will not make a difference in bowl destination.
But it matters that M remain ranked ahead of PSU becasue of the 49-10 game.
And it matters for shutting down PSU fans who claim they are bettter than Michigan.
And mostly it matters for understanding committee decision-making going forward. M is going to be in the playoff conversation a lot going forward. It matter to know that they will rank by wich team is the best, and not by 'wow they won a close shootout where they let an average offense score a ton.'

2 last second losses. The only wins outside Michigan aren't good. Is UM top 4, yes, but not a playoff team. So unfortunate.

Nobody knows a fucking thing. They are just chasing the most recent event.
If the PSU / Wisc game was last night and the UW / CU game was tonight, they'd be gushing about how Washington just made a big statement.
They have the mood swings of a teenage girl.
They have zero credibility. They are just high-paid superfans.

Why the NCAA reduced their sanctions and put them on a glide path back is beyond me. This is exactly why they should have gotten the death penalty.
Prepare for fluff pieces on all they have been through and the long hard road they traveled.
