The Mike Hart little brother comments in 2007 were a response to Javon Ringer saying “they think we’re their little brother” earlier that week. Hart was just quoting him back and saying he was right after the win, but nobody remembers that.
I remember a thread on MGoBoard around this time in 2007 about someone having a nightmare where we lost to App State. The thread consisted of everyone laughing off that it could even be a possibility.
Isn't it Fox now? And I distinctly remember Wannstedt on BTN saying Michigan should just hire Greg Schiano because they have no chance of getting Harbaugh.
Purdue's next coach will probably be Brock Spack: Purdue alum, longtime assistant under Joe Tiller, and built Illinois State into FCS contender as a head coach
RR was away and is the only exception I am pretty sure. This could also say "No 1st year Michigan coach not named Rich Rodriguez has lost to Ohio State since 1929."

Yes it was Javon Ringer.

2003 won the big ten outright and beat a very good OSU team. I think they without question were the most successful team in this group.
1. 2003 2. 1999 3. 2000 4. 2006 5. 2016 6. 1998 7. 2004 8. 2007 9. 2002 10. 2015 11. 2011 12. 2005 13. 2001 14. 2017 15. 2012 16. 2013 17. 2010 18. 2014 19. 2009 20. 2008
The 2000 team was loaded with talent but underachieved. They still beat OSU and MSU and split the big ten title. A lot of these are very close.
They left as Heisman winners and Big Ten champs. Peppers has unfinished business to reach that level.

Right they used to be known mainly for defense early in Stoops' tenure. TCU changed similarly as well

They might as well get rid of all bowls outside CFP. It feels like the NIT.

If Michigan doesn't get credit for beating Colorado with an injured QB neither should Wash.

Purdue definitely has more football history. Indiana is one of the very worst programs historically.

How about 2004? Maybe not quite that high and it was not only a new qb but a true freshman.

Friedgen was a good, probably underrated coach. Maryland was pretty bad before him and they were probably dumb to fire him.

Pretty sure he did an episode on them already a year or so ago on the O'Bannon case. Probably due for a revisit though.
