SF Chronicle Najee Harris Update

Continues to have an Alabama vs Michigan theme and reads like its trending our way frankly. Bama (in this article) sounds a bit desperate with the negative recruiting and surprised that Saban is not visiting on the bye week.

Could be that this bay area writer just likes Harbaugh more, but man do I continue (against my better judgment) to get more and more excited about this recruitment

Competion? somebody please tell Lupoi we have more wins against current top 25 teams than bama does. I hope the negative recruiting back fires on them like it did with Rashan Gary last year from those teams down south.

Wow he's playing a game tonight not far from me here in oakland.  Is it too weird to go to a high school game as a 27 yo michigan fan?  If I could go watch adrian peterson in high school I probably would. Doesn't even matter if Najee doesn't end up at UofM - just cool to see amazing atheletes play.

I've found it's fun to go to a high school game no matter how old you get.  It takes you back to the "good 'ole days" for one thing.  Also, after going to hugely packed Michigan Stadium, a high school game is much more intimate.  The enthusiasm at high school games is also part of the fun.  Obviously, it would help if there were some really good players on one or both of the teams to make it more interesting.  Go for it is my advice.

Anyone notice the Jumpman shoes perfectly framed in the car photo?  Hidden message?  LOL I know that it is not.  Still, can't hurt that the kid likes Jumpman am I right...

article seemed to indicate Harris intends on being an early enrollee, which likely puts his commit date prior to the NC game... would be great for us to be in the playoff, of course, and I get that you're saying the rest of the class post-NC (if we're fortunate enough to be there & win it) would take care of itself, but for Harris' sake, he may be off the table by then

I was a little worried when there weren't a bunch of recruting articles, gushing about how influential Harbs was when he visited Harris. But maybe that's mostly because Harris is playing close to the vest?

The kid is an impact player. He's the type of player that Michigan always has and could become a great. I don't know if he is all around better than Jabrill or faster but I think he will be better with the ball because of his strength. Kid is a freak just like Pep. If Michigan gets him, you can pretty much kiss all the other teams asses goodbye because no one will stope Jim Harbaugh's offenses with this incoming class for a good many years.
