Harbaugh on Le Batard Show @ 11:30 EST

Submitted by ChiCityWolverine on

Jim Harbaugh will be on The Dan Le Batard Show (ESPN Radio) at 11:30 AM EST this morning. As a daily listener, I'll warn the serious sports radio crowd that Dan and Stugotz will not likely ask Harbaugh much about the team specifically. I'd expect a silly interview with questions about the booger and other Harbaugh stories or personality quirks. If you're into that, here's the link:

For people who are complaining that they didn't talk football, do your think if they asked what his game plan for penn state was that he'd go into some long insightful commentary, really breaking down the plan? Any football question would just be his normal answer/non-answer, especially to any fan who reads the transcripts of his press conferences and such.

Something along the lines of, "We're trying to be better today than we were yesterday..." Both sides have their place, but, on the Lebatard show, I don't mind the dive into the more personal side. This Ron Magill character they have on talking about building skeletons is pretty interesting.

Best sports show bar none. No athlete or coach you interview will ever actually talk about sports in the way you want them to actually talk about sports, so may as well have true / funny discussion.

I actually go back and listen to old podcasts.  I think Le Batard with Stu Gotz is great.  Greg Cote is pretty funny when he is on as well.  As others have mentioned, if you are looking for some good sports insights this is not your show.  If you are looking for a show that one man named Stu Gotz is made fun of and some unconfortable talking points at times, this is your show.

before last season.  They absolutely loved him and raved about how awesome he is.  I find the Le Batard show to be very funny, but I can also see why some people can't stand it.

I thought Harbaugh handled the interview fine since there was literally zero football talk in the interview.

Le Batard is either a show you love or hate. You have to take it for what it is.

I, for one, don't like the constant serious sports talk throughout the week. I need to easy listening and stupid banter to keep me sane.

That's why I like the show.

Dan realizes if you talk sports with athletes or coaches you're usually going to get tired cliches. So he tries to lighten the mood by getting them to talk about other things and humanize them. The segments with Kurkjian are comedic gold.

Harbaugh thinks sombody else's satirical depth chart is a waste of time during a game week, but he has time for this?

Okay, I guess.  Just beat Ohio State.
