Limited Away Game Tickets available 8:30 AM (150 points or more)
Only 32 more points to go. I'm eager to go to that Iowa game.....
I however have 96 more points to go... Uggggg
If you log in, you can check your point balance.
I should have figured that out, my bad. Thanks!
Edit: it doesn't give me my alumni points but either way, I would not be at 150. Ugh.
Wait, it's not 150 MGoPoints required?
Crap.
There goes my season tickets in one of the suites.

Eh, considering where they're trading on the secondary market right now (http://www.stubhub.com/ohio-state-football-tickets-ohio-state-vs-michig…) it seems the true market value of those tickets is much higher than $195. The cheapest ticket on stubhub currently is $389.40 before fees. Just because a group of season ticket holders who already spend thousands per year on seats/donation don't totally snap up the entire allotment doesn't mean they won't be gone very quickly this morning. That price is still a good deal given where the market is.
That maybe true. But the problem with the OSU game is that by the time it get's closer, one of the two teams is usually out of it and the price comes way down. It's really hard to recoup $195 on stubhub as the season wears on without both teams compeitng for a Big10 championship.
This year, however, I doubt that will be the case, which is certainly driving up the early season prices on the secondary market.
$195 is a deal now, but in most cases the prices go down as the game gets closer. I would be surprised if $200 a ticket couldn't get you in to the worst seats in the stadium (what these will be) if you're looking on Thanksgiving. There are times when that isn't true, but it's probably a good bet to take.
That's becuase the price was $195 per ticket. Yes, that is correct. Face value of $195 per ticket for the worst seats in teh stadium.
umbig11 is right. My Rutgers order doesn't show section/row/seat info.
My advice (lived in IC for a couple years, went to about four games) is buy the best seats you can afford, not necessariy in the UM section. The visiting team sections are shit. Iowa fans, while sometimes a bit mouthy (esp after a full day of drinking, expect some heckling), are generally a pretty good natured bunch.
of 250 home games and about 2 dozen or so road games, I can tell you this: those road games are generally more memorable to me than the majority of the home games, probably because the uniqueness of each and every one of them. While I've seen games at Michigan Stadium since '75 and had season tickets since '77 (including my present seats since '80) and loved every minute of it, I do have to say that most of the home games that stand out in my mind are the bigger games and/or games vs bigger rivals, or games such as vs IU in '79 (Wangler-to-Carter), vs. Virginia (Mercury TD in my corner on the final play, or several I prefer not to mention. But most of those MAC games and many of the lesser home B1G games against teams like Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern, etc.? I'd be lying if I claimed to remember much of anything regarding those games.
But the road games, though---that's a different story. I've been to Michigan @ Purdue 6 times, and UM @ Northwestern 7 times, most of them blowouts, but I remember 'em all. Also been to ND 3 times, IU twice, Minnesota 2x, and each of Wisky, Ohio State, and MSU once each, and have vivid memories of all of them, even the few losses I've witnessed. There's something to be said for being a part of the "enemy" contingent that makes it enjoyable in a completely different way, especially when vastly outnumbered.
I've enjoyed road games so much that I'm seriously considering becoming a B1G nomad for a few autumns when I retire, gettting myself an RV and following Michigan Football on the road for entire seasons. Work and family have made that dream impossible so far in life, but once those time constraints are greatly reduced when I retire, hell, why not!?!
I sat in Section 104, Row 1. It's right behind the Visitor's bench. Besides freezing to death, it was cool to be so close to the players, but kind of difficult to see the game.
The unfortunate thing is that I was right behind the exercise bike (which Taylor Lewan did nothing but use when he wasn't on the field...blocking my view). I also had to yell over to Kenny Allen because he didn't realize that he was too close to one of the heaters and his cleat was melting to it.
We may have to organize an MGoTailgate event

Got my Rutgers tickets right at 8:30
But SOOOOOOO tempted to go back to Rutgers, as my first experience there was less than memorable.
MGoWife and I had a great time on that trip... other than the outcome of the game.
I was tempted too, but I had more than two people who would want to go and at 100 bucks a pop I feel like I can wait and maybe do a little better.
If only MGoPoints counted instead.
One way or another I will be at that Rutgers game...or should I see Rutgers Beatdown Go Blue!!!

...their litterbox habits are dreadful.
is just friggin gross.
Thank you for that analysis Abraham Zapruder
Good stuff man . . . .
I am aware that the photograph is fake. It doesn't make it less gross, because it is a cat.
The cat of ours that recently passed had some weight issues, but yeah, at the peak of those issues, the litter habits did indeed fall off a bit, so I can definitely confirm this, even though I assume you are speaking in jest here, of course. Also, grooming became a problem, although the other cats actually helped her out with that, which was both cute and disturbing simultaneously.
Can't wait for the Iowa game. Should be one of our toughest games of the year especially at night. Wondering if its a blackout game for them if I should don a maize shirt or stick with a blue or white jersey.
I would don as many layers as possible for that one.
