OT: Worst Movie That You Ever Watched

Submitted by Santa Clause on

Simple question. What is the worst movie that you've ever seen? I nominate Howard the Duck, although the more I watch it now the more I laugh from it being so bad.

Yeah, I was a kid when I nagged my dad to take me see that movie, he hated it and still reminds me of that whenever going to the movies comes by as an option. As a kid I didn't really hated it but still, it's a really stupid movie.

The Crying Game. I've seen a LOT of bad movies -- and I mean really bad movies -- but The Crying Game broke me. I saw it at the Ziegfeld in Manhattan, and if I'd had a flame thrower when that big "reveal" came ...

I knew a very attractive girl who was all into art house movies. The stuff I saw, some of it I can't even describe because I didn't know what I was watching. One memorable bad movie I saw with her that I could actually understand without subtitles was "Ethan Frome". One really bad movie I saw all by myself was, "Ultraviolet". "Bloodrayne" was pretty miserable. Recently, "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" has to be pretty much up there as a piece of crap.

The live-action version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey as the Grinch. Dr. Seuss books should only ever be animated.

I'm not going to scroll through everything, so if it's been mentioned oh well. The Star Wars Christmas Special is easily the worst movie ever. It's not so bad that it's actually entertaining, it's just incredibly bad. Just awful. I tried to watch it and laugh but I didn't last more than 30 minutes. Grade schoolers could've done better.

Most of you are too young to know really trashy movies.  Most of these I have seen posted are just kids stuff.

For my money, Mystery Science Theater 3000 made a multi year run showing the worst movies ever made.

The absolute worst is "Manos, The Hands of Fate.

Wikipedia says;

"Manos: The Hands of Fate is a 1966 American low-budget horror film written, directed, produced by, and starring Harold P. Warren. It is widely recognized to be one of the worst films ever made."

Unbeatable in my opinion.

And a movie my wife made me watch when she was taking Chinese Literature class at UofM called yellow river. All Chinese. All river. Eye gouging territory

Too many to narrow, but I will avoid reading these comments because I know I will be in annoyed upon seeing the opinions of others.

For me it's not even close: Cyrus. You'd think a movie starring John C Reily, Jonah Hill, and Marisa Tomei would be funny but that movie just made me feel terrible all over.

So many choices, but I vote:

Jack & Jill

OR

Lenoard Part 6 (so bad Cosby did not want his movie released)
