You need a good goalie if you want to win the title. Racine has been shit since his freshman year. Why hasn't Red recruited a better goalie over the past 3 years?

This team is way too talented to play like this, I bet no other team has as much NHL talent on its team like we do and yet we seem to underachieve, am I being too harsh?
Usually Michigan, North Dakota, Minnesota, and BC are the most heavily stocked teams.
This one is going to stand up, too, boys.

To hell with our defense and our goaltending. It is embarassing the way we bleed goals for both reasons when we are so good at the other end.
I just don't get how, after the entire reasons, guys STILL all watch the puck, STILL constantly blow their assignments, STILL give up odd man rushes so often, and STILL turn the puck over so much like at the end of last period.
Completely inexcusable to be able to handle the puck so well on offense and then do it like garbage in your own end.
Really don't see the defense improving without a coaching change, but we do at least have a blue chip goalie and some fresh defensive blood coming in that might at least be able to fix the obvious stuff on their own that we can't get right now.
But Michigan hockey.

North Dakota was a better team than us and we went toe-to-toe with them for most of the game. Sucks to lose, but the better team looks like they're going to win

this season we dicked around every weekend with teams that basically are no better than medicore. That just doesn't get you prepared.
but it definitely took us a good 1-2 periods to adjust to playing a team as good as North Dakota. We didn't see a team like that in the Big Ten this year. Not even close and that's all we've been playing against since like October
Still some late hope, but regardless, I hope Warde's able to bring back Mel!

The defense never got better all year. unacceptable.
There is never, ever, ever a lock for the title in the NCAA tournament. The best teams lose year after year. St Cloud just lost to a Ferris team they'd beat 9 out of 10 times. Happens every single year
