Sometimes the videos won't show up until the code is posted twice for some reason. As you can see it's not working.

How many numbers do the Pistons have left in circulation?

Stanley was wearing the number before the Pistons retired it. So he can ontinue to wear it if he wants. Once he leaves/retires/changes numbers, no one will wear it again.
Similar to how Mo Rivera wore #42 even after it was retired by baseball.

Mr. Big Shot spend eight of his 17 seasons with Detroit., with career averages of 16.5 points and 6.2 assists during that span.
- Five All-Star appearances
- Second in franchise history in 3-pointers made (890)
- Fourth in franchise history in assists (2,984)
- Eighth in free throws made (2,336)
What an awesome ceremony. So many great memories of watching him sink clutch baskets.

You couldn't be more wrong about 89. No one was beating the Pistons that year.

Has any other franchise in the history of sports ever devalued retiring numbers more than the Pistons?

You think the Yankee greats accomplishments are comparable to Vinny, Chauncey and the Fro? C'mon, man. The only one's that are legit are Lambeir and Thomas. I'll also throw in Dumars.
