Just sit right back And you'll hear a tale A tale of a fateful trip, That started from East Lansing, Aboard this tiny bus. The Cook was a mighty passin' lad, The Coach brave and sure, Eighty Five passengers set sail that day, For a three hour bus tour, A three hour bus tour. The weather started getting rough, The tiny bus was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew The Spartans would be lost. The Spartans would be lost. The bus set ground on the shore Of this uncharted football field With Connor Cook, D'antonio too. The Izzone And Lupe, The situation, The professor of waste manure, Here on D'antonio's Isle. So this is the tale of their Spartan team, They're here for a long long time. (or so it seemed) They'll have to make the best of things, It's an uphill climb. Conner Cook and his Coach too Will do their very best, To make the others uncomf'terble In their semifinal nest. No offense, no defense, no special teams, Not a single point they scored Unlike Denard Robinson It's primitive as can be. So join us here each week my friends, You're sure to get a smile, From 85 stranded castaways Here on D'antonio's Isle!

The one thing you forgot is that they've been pummeling Michigan lately, and have won something like 50 games over the last five years, and just made it to football's Final Four.

Besides that, and Michigan being the suck, yeah, life must be hell for an MSU fan.

Also they had to practice in the hotel ballroom

Also I was told Hollis was AD Of the century for inheriting Izzo, destroying MSU's hockey program, being only partially responsible for hiring Dantonio, and playing Western and Central and Eastern at their cute stadiums.

Maybe the AD of the century could have found a hotel closer than an hour away?

King might be the most physically gifted DE in the class, he's an absolute monster at 6-6.5 with 36" arms and 11" hands. Glad we are trying to flip him because I don't want to see us play against him. He has the potential to be a first round pick.

Would this be M trying to sell King on the defensive scheme Don Brown will be running? Is he a better fit for M's new defense or MSU's? I've learned a lot from this site but still am unsure what type of athletes you look for to fill the trenches in a 3-4 or 4-3

The more I think about this - you have to give Digiorno credit for recruiting elite kids to a school and program that is far from it.  How do you get 4 - 5 stars to live in East Lansing for 4 years?  Incredible really.
