How bout the no call targeting and interception that took points off the board for Iowa? That seems pretty lucky. How about the multiple times that their players were hit in the backfield and spun out for just enough yardage. How about the fact that they should not of even been in the damn game if not for the luckiest ending in the history of football? Yeah, not lucky at all.

That's what we've been saying every year for the last 5 years. Everyone thinks that next year is the year MSU finally takes the step back to irrelevance. And it never happens. They just get stronger every year and continue to take that next step while Michigan sits around with its dick in its hand.

Look I hate to admit it too, but is it possible that MSU is just that good of a program where they're just going to reload at this point?

If MSU wins the national title, that botched punt will never be lived down by Michigan fans. Whether it's next year or 100 years from now.

Jesus fucking Christ. What did Michigan do to piss the football gods off so much? I feel like Michigan has paid more than enough penance.

With exception of UNC, I don't even think the top 10 changes in terms of the teams.

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. MSU
  4. Oklahoma
  5. Stanford
  6. OSU
  7. ND
  8. MSU
  9. FSU
  10. Who gives a shit

But what the hell is the NC coach doing wasting a timeout??? They could have gotten the ball back with about 50 seconds left on a Clemson 3 and out...now they'll be lucky to get 15 seconds.

This is the saddest I've ever felt after a loss from a non-Michigan college football team...  I was really rooting for Iowa to win.  This season was a redemption story for their program and their coach, Kirk Ferentz.  And, given their long history without an undefeated season or national title, I felt nobody else deserved to win it all and be in the playoffs than they did.  My heart goes out to their team and their fans
