We're dead last in defense despite spending more of our cap (67%) than any team in the league, we cant run the ball, cant protect the QB, our tallest wide-out is about 5'7", our biggest free agent signing was for a fat, slow Dwayne Bowe who couldnt get separation from me, our "franchise" QB would rather get wasted (I mean really Moellered) and chase coeds than actually play QB and our HC record is 2-14 in our last 16 games. Last night we picked off Schaub and managed to run exactly ONE play in 40 seconds despite having two time outs and you know how the damn game ended.
Paxton Lynch would be my first choice right now but I'm terrified at the thought of depending on Ray Farmer to make the pick and Mike Pettit coaching him.

and drafting exclusively positional group isn't a smart strategy. You need depth at other positions plus you will pass up star players in favor of a lesser prospect which is a bad strategy as well.
Franchise QB trumps all. If you can find him, you become a SB contender instantly regardless of the roster makeup.
Also, the Browns OL is pretty good. Why spend multiple draft picks on a position of strength? They just drafted Cam Erving to be their C of the future.

It's not college where you can recruit to have 12 hight rated O-linemen on the team and roll with the best 5. And like the other posted said, O-line has a high bust rate, even at the NFL level.
I'm all for building a killer Oline which makes everything else on offense look a lot better, but probably easier to do it through free agency. Getting a solid 2 O-linemen through a few drafts is doable over the course of a few years, but expecting to get all 5 is unlikely.

but I've been hearing the Browns strongly prefer Connor Cook. I'd give it a 60% chance of the Browns drafting Connor Cook with their first round pick.

to play much less start Erving at OG, a postion that he has never played in his entire career.

The irony is that you are complaining to Lions fans (er...maybe watchers)....

The Browns may or may not draft a QB, but their QB certainly enjoys a draft ...

Research is the most used resource to finding out something you need from school papers to things you want to buy. Research is also used to find cheaper shopping supplies. For instance one store may have had a pricey type of material one was looking for and the other store you researched was a couple dollars cheaper. Coming out of high school I was thinking to my self what I wanted to do for a living and what I wanted to major in to start the quest for my job. Research is also used to find shopping cheaper shopping supplies.
I used the research process to find out what type of job specific major I wanted to major in and what type of job I wanted to do when I graduated from college. I researched different types of jobs, Criminal justice, business, communications, and education. I came up with criminal justice but couldn’t decide between business and criminal justice. I did research on business and did their pros and cons. Then, I did the pros and cons of criminal justice. I came up with in the business world you can either have a good chance at the type of business you want to start or a bad business that won’t sell or bring in money.
Another part of my research I did was the most important factors in the business, was what they want for what they can afford and is there a profit that can help me out to make some extra money. The availability of the job openings, the job entails, the pay hours. I looked up also whether I would have to be in school for along time or not to get a job. Also my personal enjoyment in the job would I love to do every day I woke up to go to work.
With out research I would not have been able to get these types of information for the job that I want to do for the rest of my life. If one would just go and do something with out researching first they could’ve missed something that could have later benefited later on or benefited one more then the other.
Terrelle Pryor

Pryor is signing with the Browns as a wide receiver, but he also might serve as the Browns' No. 3 quarterback, multiple reports say.
Other reports suggest that he might also serve as Manziel's designated driver.

The man's a trendsetter. Those 24-hour test drives they offer now at Buick? Pryor was years ahead of his time.

The Browns signing Terrelle Pryor is 100% consistent with their established habit of doing everything in their power to try and lose me as a fan.

They don't seem to develop NFL QBs, but they also continue to win.
Didn't Troy "500 dollar Handshake" Smith start a game a few years back?

"who was the last osu qb to start in nfl?"
That depends...does Oakland count?
Pryor was the starter there in 2013 until he sprained his MCL.

To see if he can catch a ball? You're right, what a ridiculous thing for a football team with zero talent at the WR position to do.

Pryor was an idiot and a terrible Quarterback, but you're going to sit there and tell me that a dude who is 6'4" 235lbs and runs a 4.38 isn't an athletic freak?

NFL teams want to win, need receivers badly, Pryor is available, has the measurables, its a no brainer dude.
