which it was considering that Miles has been an offensive coach his entire life. That is a fact that can easily be gleaned from a Google search.
A second person I responded too in exasperation because they repeated the same idea that the previous poster had. I did not "disparage" that person at all.
The third person appeared to me to be taking a shot at me. If someone is going to resort to insults they should expect the same in return.
I think it's you who is the troll for a honest person could read my posts and see--save for the inittial post which was admittedly overly aggressive--that your interpretation is skewed to say the least.
I don't know who the fourth person is you are referring to. The only other person I responded aggressively too was you and that was in response to your provocation.

I actually called the suggestion "moronic", not the person. Either way, it was not the right reaction, but people keep suggesting Mile as DC when it takes but a second to Google Les Miles to see his coaching resume. It's not hard.

Les coaches offense
Les is 197 years old (okay, he's 62...and Greg Mattison is 66...but one is a head coach and the other is a lifetime coordinator/position coach).
Les has a $15 million buyout and is not going to go be a coordinator - anywhere
Les has lost "it" as a hands on coach is more of a figure head/personnel manager/in-game situation decider at this point in his career
Les isn't coaching at Michigan again - ever, people need to let it go.

Les Miles is an offensive guy. That can be easily learned by Googling him. He also alienated a lot of people at Michigan. He isn't coming back to Michigan, much less as DC.
I have don't care either way if he comes back, but he is NOT a defensive coach. I repeat HE IS NOT A DEFENSIVE COACH SO STOP SUGGESTING HIM AS DC.

Miles was never an elite coach, but he was good for 8-10 wins a year, so they'd better have someone lined up who can do better.

I define elite as being Nick Saban or Urban Meyer types. Miles is a great defensive coach and an all around good coach, but he is not elite. Not now anyway.

It'll be Championship Weekend, they'll probably do the Clemson/UNC game...Spurrier was AWFUL. I'd like to see Miles have a shot for some extended time to see if there is potential to replace Corso down the road.
